I have never been a special fan of the Beach Boys. although this album definitely shows that their talents extend beyond beach party music, I was not won over

The first track is great, the rest of it I am re-listening to as it came off a bit ordinary the first time around Penitentiary Philosophy though.... a great track

I should like this more, definitely flavours of Nick Cave in there.... but I really didn't get on too well with it. Perhaps I should give it some more time but still 990 ish albums to go before I die!
