BITTER SWEET SYMPATHY, THAT'S LIFEEEE!
Fantastic album by ABBA!! Don't think there was one song that I disliked. Their harmonies are distinct and so beautifully done. From catchy party tunes like Dancing Queen and Money, Money Money. To the more captivating verses of My Love, My Life and Why Did It Have To Be Me. Overall stunning! Probably my fav album they've produced.
Stunning album. First three songs set the mood perfectly. Love the soft/ poetic like acoustics and lyrics. I'd say this album, U2 found their sound. Despite their 1984 album, with their single "Sunday Bloody Sunday", all eleven tracks are monsters! Although they're a rock band, their music is light. You're able to appreciate it more, since the instrumentals arn't dominating your attention. Defiently reccomend. Total stand out is "The Streets Have No Name" excellent opening. Although "Bullet The Blue Sky" gets an honourable mention, as I haven't heard it before and my god it's brilliant!
Very graceful/ quaint album. First time hearing his stuff. I did appreciate it, as I found it comforting and definitely peaceful for the ears. Describe him as a combination of Bob Dylan and Neil Diamond. No tracks, I can say, stood out. As they flow fluently amongst each other. Suzana although, sets the mood well. Only issue with this is, it ain't that experimental. All the tracks sound the say, stylistically. Country. Country. Country. Just wish it would've tried something different in terms of instrumentals, as all Cohen uses is a guitar. Still reccomend tho, for those gentle souls out there.
I'm not much of a jazz kind of guy, but I very much enjoyed this. Every song blends well with one another, since this is purely a instrumental album in the 50s. So it makes sense. Analysing jazz... I find a bitch to do since it all sounds similar. I'd reccomend for any jazz lover out there, this is their bread and butter. I'm more of a rocker, so havn't got much to say sadly.

First I literally thought I wouldn't enjoy this; then I gave it a chance... and I quite liked it. John Prine's music just seems to have this calming effect, where if you listen to it, it completely relaxes you. All the tracks are like, which ain't a bad thing. They don't necessarily flow into one another like others, it's simply a collection of country tracks. Drums, guitar and electric guitar. I liked it. Song writing can be corny at times, thought that's what makes it gold.
What else is there to say about this beast of an album. Starts off with a bang with the rocky track "Thunder Road" Gives this dusty, electromagnetic vibe that the album is notorious for. That edge in Springstreen's voice is so smokey and deep that it sounds captivating for the ears. That combination of trumpets, guitar and piano make this album what it is! "Jungleland" is an out of control track, that changes theme every minute. It's brilliant yet exciting, since you have zero idea where the song is going next. Of course "Born To Run" is a household name. Being a jazzy/ flashy dance segment to an intense series of verses at the end. Have a listen! Excellent lyrics as well, meaningful and thrilling
Received another country like album on here, damn.... Neil Young though, he is gold! His song writing is brilliant and catchy. Instrumentals are kept simple although they prove effective to getting the tone across perfectly. Mostly a few guitars, bass and drums. "On The Beach" throws you into a fantasy onto a peaceful shore. As Young calmly sings you a story. Defiently reccomend

I'm slowly being turned into a Neil Young fan. At first I found his music slow/ dragged and weak instrumentally. Then I gave him a chance and loved what I heard. His live tracks have a different feel than compared to his studio stuff. "My, My, Hey, Hey is a beautiful/ captivating opening. That every track afterwards follows emotionally. Second Young album I gotten from this. And I'm afraid to say I'm sorta a fan. Reccomend it
