1001 Albums Summary

More instrumental than expected, not very familiar with Radiohead before. Reminded of Animal Collective, though softer.

Voice halfway between Thriller/Hot Summer Night narration and typical singing. Dark/religious theme lyrics. Quieter music, style gets old by the end of the album. Select listening/Halloween would be good!

Not very remarkable, weird lyrics "some girls are bigger than others". Personally not interesting.

Good background, probably wouldn’t seek it out on it’s own. Decent within-album variety.

This is great. Funky sound, interesting instrumental sections. I didn't follow lyrics closely but greatly enjoyed the sound. Album art reminds me of Flying Dog beer art.

Some songs seemed harder rock, some more classic. Overall an interesting album that I should revisit to pick a favorite or two.

Classic Beatles album!

Dark Fantasy is great. Sadly I mostly know Kanye through his public persona, which is "complicated". The language in rap often makes me feel like it's not a space meant for me, but the music is enjoyable. I was also surprised at the variety and consistent freshness of album's songs.

I don't understand West coast rap, difficulty understanding lyrics and a similar background sound made all songs sound similar to me.

I liked the harmonica. This is good background music. The singing is meh for me.
