My least favorite of the BritPop 90s, I had never listened to this whole album, and gave it a chance. 30 years later, I still prefer Blur, Supergrass, and Pulp in this era/genre of music. Suede is fine, but just never really grabbed my attention. I still find Anderson’s delivery to be vaguely annoying, while the music never delivered much excitement or engagement for me.
