Make Yourself
IncubusWhat's not to love. One of my all time favorite albums. I'd give it 10 stars if I could!

Such a great album! One of the first where you can really see their sound start to change after deciding not to tour anymore. Lots of experimental sounds like sitar and distorted guitar. I was surprised at how many of these songs I recognized even though this isn't an album I've really listened to.
I'm not the biggest fan of The Cure. That being said, they are a great band. This was an album that when I hear it, I immediately think of the 80's and all the culture that comes with it. So even though it's not a go-to album for me, it does carry some nostalgia.
Very chill album. I enjoyed listening to it even though this isn't really my type of music.

Very interesting album, especially for the time. Also quite the departure from what Damon Albarn did with Blur. I really like how chill this music is, even with heavier tones.
I've never really given the Beastie Boys a fair shake. Mainly because I'm not super into hip hop. I found myself enjoying it as each track went by.
What did I just listen to? HAHA In all seriousness, some of the tracks were actually pretty good!
I wanted to give this a fair shake because of how popular Radiohead is. I'm not a Radiohead fan, but I can see while people love this album. Still not for me though.
This was pretty cool. I had never heard of this band but they have that classic 60s rock/psychedelic sound like The Stones, The Who, The Doors, etc.
Not my favorite Sabbath album by far, but a classic for sure!
Oh boy, more 80s music. Haha. I recognize some of this stuff, and its catchy, but seriously, did this entire decade sound the same?
I really enjoyed the bass and drum grooves on this album.
Such a great album. This came out right about the time I started watching MTV.
I have mixed feelings about this album. It sounds great, and sounds like Green Day, but the concept album kind of ruins it for me. I suppose this album is, for me, like Dookie was 10 years prior to all the original Green Day fans. A big change that made them even more popular than ever, but I wasn't a huge fan of.
Classic Willie.
Honestly liked the collaborative songs better than the songs with just West singing/rapping. Something about West's voice is just grating to me. Jay-Z, Ludacris, and Mos Def made this album better though.
PJ isn't my absolute favorite band from the 90s grunge era, but this album is a classic and I enjoy quite a few songs from it.
This one surprised me. Loved the twangy guitar licks, and although I don't understand a word they're saying, the singing was excellent as well.
