1001 Albums Summary

On first listen I would give this album a 2.5 or 3 out of 5. I am not sure if repeat listens would improve this score. Overall the album is alright. The second half of the album is better than the first half, but even then nothing really stuck out to me. I don't think there are any songs where I will go "Oh i want to listen to blank" and some songs just drag on. It does sound nice though. Doesn't sound like something that came out in the early 70s. Stevie does have a very pleasant voice and the album did have a decent variety of styles. Blame it on the Sun is probably my favorite track. You are the sunshine of my life, lookin for another pure love, and of course superstition are other standout tracks

I liked some of the instrumentation on this album, but the vocals kill it for me. After one listen I don't have any standout tracks.
