1001 Albums Summary

Imagine a gang of crabs had a shipping business... In space and had quite an adventure delivering their items. That's what this album essentially reflects.

First time fully listening to this overall a great album with a handful of songs that I just can't stand namely wild honey pie. Blackbird and while my guitar gently weeps were highlights. I still am unsure if there's an arc that is trying to be constructed throughout the album here but it ends nicely.

This album punches through every song for a rapid driving classic full of excellent guitar and drum solos. Short and sweet but will never disappoint!

When most think of grunge music they'd likely think of Nirvana. This album exemplifies that style just as much!

Leave it to Metallica to take you on a dark and epic journey. Never disappointing.

Lyrically this album is excellent and is a way to dive into folk music

Quite a saga of songs in this one, not sure it's super memorable though. Overall I would listen to again and it makes me want to hear more by them

A must have for any road trip

If an atheist were to be forced to have an exorcism in an active warehouse this is what it would sound like. They added way too much texture that it all becomes obnoxious and you can't really hear anything. I like metal but this just ain't it. I suppose this is the result of grunge being popular and needing to stand out as a metal band.

This album was nice, I enjoyed the soft rock that it presents and it picks up in the later ends of the album

If you think of 80s music, this is the sound!

I can't help but hear Randy Newman every time I listen to this group

Don't care for the vocals at all but the instrumentation is excellent.
