Thriller by Michael Jackson
Apr 18 2023

Makes sense why its the greatest selling album (studio or otherwise) of all-time. Never listened to it front to back like that. So clean, such tight production. Amazed really by how many hits are on one album.

If You Can Believe Your Eyes & Ears by The Mamas & The Papas
Apr 19 2023

Feels like a Beatles album in a lot of ways. Nice mixing and vocals but I’m just not crazy about it.

Sound of Silver by LCD Soundsystem
Apr 20 2023

Felt like I was transported back to 2007. awesome album.

Ellington at Newport by Duke Ellington
Apr 24 2023

Classic great jazz. But to be honest there were some challenging gnawing points that I had trouble with. As much as I think I like jazz, my palette is a bit unrefined.

The Queen Is Dead by The Smiths
Apr 25 2023

Man. I thought I liked the smiths. I like a few songs a lot but realized I don’t love them top to bottom. Some really gnawing tracks I just couldn’t get behind truthfully.

Kid A by Radiohead
Apr 27 2023

Atmospheric and interesting - like being at MoMA but through your ears. Maybe because I was working while listening to it but it is just ya know an album. I understand its significance but can't say I just absolutely loved it. I've always wanted to sit down and listen.... maybe I need to dedicate everything to intently listen. But casually this is just 4 stars (more like 3.5). Still a lot of interesting ideas.

The Bends by Radiohead
Apr 28 2023

great peek into peak 90s rock

Elephant by The White Stripes
May 01 2023

First half was slow (with some notable exceptions) but second half rocked

Bat Out Of Hell by Meat Loaf
May 02 2023

Certified rock opera. Unfortunately just not my taste. Aware of how impressive it was, just not for me.

Autobahn by Kraftwerk
May 03 2023

Just not my vibe. But last track kinda hits

Lazer Guided Melodies by Spiritualized
May 10 2023

I mean. Do I wanna go back and listen to it? Not really. Barely got excited to listen to any of it. There were some points where it was more enjoyable noise rock than normal. See how it breaks the mold of traditional rock. But I’m not jumping to listen to it again

May 15 2023

Honestly very good album. Knew nothing of these guys. Want to listen to it more. For 1970 felt like they were ahead of their time.

Vulnicura by Björk
May 17 2023

Whoa do I like Bjork? Kind of! Yes!

Nick Of Time by Bonnie Raitt
Jun 30 2023

Good. Still prefer earlier stuff but solid album.

Murmur by R.E.M.
