- nice lyrics - nice lyricism - i love the creative decision to perform this in front of a live crowd - kinda simple instrumentally - love the sax tho - love the humour - feels very authentic - i understand how the vocals can throw some off but like Danny brown for some it kills the music personally it’s what makes him so great these lines probably wouldn’t be as funny with regular vocals - the storytelling is incredible - this shit is jokes lmao - I feel like when the lyrics start to lose me the record can get a little stale as it’s simple instrumentally and the songwriting is the main focus - incredible closer - what a brilliantly cohesive record one of the most album feeling albums I’ve heard - amazing record

- Diverse beat selection from lush relaxing trippy to danceable - production sounds pretty nice and oddly experimental at points - madonna soft vocals don’t add too much but work well with the production - drags pretty hard especially halfway through - lyrics are really dull - overall it’s a good pop record but nothing i would replay, 7/10

This album screams 50 year old white conservative truck driver and “I was born in the wrong generation” type music. It’s aged Terribly, the guitar solo are forgettable and corny, and these vocals are so painful. I could barely distinguish between songs they all use the same formula, I’m glad this is 40 minutes cause I don’t know how much more I could take.

- overall 6/10 decent record pretty unqiue pretty trippy and has some solid moments occasionally but not really my type of music -also the fact this is a talking heads side project is cool, easily prefer talking heads stuff tho

Who hasn’t heard this record yet? Yea ofc it’s great a little overrated but still has plenty of incredible tracks just some that don’t hold up as well or some that just don’t fit, and nearing the end there’s a surprisingly high amount of these weaker tracks, all that said easy strong 8 easily one of the most essential art projects in history

Don’t care for the vocals, got some good moments here and there but just not for me. I still appreciate some of the riffs and tracks like the opener rock study and bad company are pretty nice but still don’t think I’m returning kinda stale listen personally strong 5-6

Got some solid moments here and there, def great production throughout, but in all honesty I just don’t really care for this type of music. It dragged pretty hard by the end and while I was ok with the vocals at the start by the end they were kinda annoying. Still not the worst def got some moments, light 6

I can’t recall a single one This is a painful listen 70 minutes is excruciatingly long the only saving grace is ig if you don’t take it seriously it’s semi bearable? Still was disappointed when I got this record and even more disappointed after listening to it, light 3

The vocals are annoying, the music is really stale, it’s dance music but it doesn’t get my going, I hate the comfortably numb cover, but there is the occasional good song like return to the oz. Overall it’s just a pretty boring record no desire to return light 4

She got nice vocals but a great chunk on this record is just so forgettable and stale. It’s a shame cause i love her singles but ig she just isn’t a album artists. Not much happens here but it’s not the worst and it got some decent cuts, overall 5/10 pretty indifferent to the record

Surprisingly fantastic record. Amazing instrumentation some of the riffs and solos sound amazing. Pretty consistent tracklist throughout. Got some great tracks overall great album strong 8

I think the name smokers delight is prefers to describe this record. It’s such a chill, tropical, and fun instrumental record. I was a little tempted on a 5 but I think it drags a little too hard. Had this been a 50 or even 40 min record of the best material here and you’re looking at a 10. Even with that gripe I think this record is easily one of the better instrumental records I’ve heard can’t wait to listen to it on a good sunny day with a nice joint, maybe then It’d be a 10 but for now we’ll settle on a mid - strong 8, solid record give it a listen 👍

I just don’t really care for this. I’m pretty different to everything on this record aside from dreamer really dislike that one. Overall mediocre record don’t care for it, strong 4-5

While the music is very powerful at points and has a lot of soul, I also think the music can be kind of minimalistic and not very engaging at moments. I think it’s a decent record but it’s not much of my thing I’ll leave it at that 6/10
