Solid mid-90s British alternative rock. Wonderwall, Some Might Say, Don’t Look Back in Anger, She’s Electric, Champagne Supernova all good to great

Liked a few of the songs. Overall, not my preferred genre. 2/5

Here's Little Richard by Little Richard
Sep 17 2023

Witness the birth of rock and roll…some big hits, some average album tracks. Little Richard not yet fully formed on this album in my opinion, but interesting to hear the early days of the genre. (4/5)

Rust Never Sleeps by Neil Young & Crazy Horse
Sep 18 2023

Enjoyed the difference in sound between the acoustic side and the electric side. Loved a few of the tracks on the album (My My Hey Hey, Powderfinger, Sail Away, Hey Hey My My) but the rest were just ok. (3/5)

Figure 8 by Elliott Smith
Sep 19 2023

There is a day and a mood where this album will hit perfectly. Today was not that day for me even after I spun the album twice. I liked the second spin a lot better than the first as the album started to open up and reveal more of itself. Definitely something to go back to, but not in heavy rotation.

Off The Wall by Michael Jackson
Sep 20 2023

Absolute classic. If you’re not up and dancing during the first half of this album, you’re doing it wrong. Really great to hear Michael Jackson in the funk/disco mode.

After The Gold Rush by Neil Young
Sep 21 2023

Just ok and probably not something I’ll go back and listen to again

What happens when you bring together really interesting music with people who can’t sing? I probably would’ve like this album a whole lot better if it were just the music.
