1001 Albums Summary

Too long and haven't listened to all of it yet. Many good songs, just split it into two separate albums. Not for you cover was nice

Understandably a 4 star album, but personal preference is a 3. Could see this going up on further listens, but it tires me out and is maybe too much? I can also imagine a cover of these songs in a slightly different style would make me appreciate them more. But 3 stars is still 'good' in my eyes.

Too gaudy? I liked the hits and the slower folky songs were the best. Also loses a star for god save the queen. Probably wouldn't listen to the whole album again, but would be good for kids as a first album to get into. Maybe. Ah well.

Jack Black in School of Rock is better. Didn't even really like the hits. Eye-rolling.

Awful stuff. Please let me listen to something that isn't 80s American rock.

Not the best as an album due to some filler, but the hits definitely hit. The master of guitar, is there ever gonna be someone better?

Shouldn't be a double album, just a long LP. A lot of duff lyrics. The positives though are that I really liked some of the songs! And I can imagine they would be great live. Still a bit annoying but I like the album cover.
