1001 Albums Summary

I found it interesting to see the mix of both the country style and the rock and roll mix in one album. I was struck at how short the songs were compared to current music or even music 20 years later. The lyrics were eye opening in the fact of what was socially acceptable during the 1950s.

Okay album. Had trouble focusing as I didn't find enough variation in sounds to keep me focused. This is 100% a me thing so I can't fault them for it.

Interesting mix. Not many thoughts on it but would probably listen again.

Great driving music. Enjoyed the mellow vibe and general riffs.

It's a prince album, how could you go wrong? Dated via the heavy synthesizer use but still great.

Good representation of classic jazz. Great compositions. This coming from a perso who does not enjoy jazz.

Smooth and mellow. Will not likely listen again as it's not my wheelhouse, but I did enjoy it during the listening session.

Very much enjoyed the female vocals and raw music rather than heavily computerized.

It's Taylor swift, while you can't deny the heavily produced and procured style of pop music, you can't deny you'd be singing along to any song from this album.

It's the Beatles. It's good.

Great album barring a couple errant notes from chimes or something, which drew away from the performance.

If you weren't sleepy before this album, you will be before it ends.
