Very, very unendingly dull.

In A Silent Way by Miles Davis
Oct 07 2023

Despite the slight apprehension I went into this album with due to seeing the lengths of both tracks, I actually enjoyed it quite a bit. I love songs that feel sort of hypnotic and allow you to get lost in the music, and that's what this album did for me. Both tracks feel almost ambient and atmospheric and really pulled me into the feeling of the album. Due to its length and aforementioned characteristics, however, I can't say I would actually listen to this album very often outside of using it as background music. This is even despite Davis' doubtless musical talent, because truth be told, it did get a *little* boring for me after a while.

Birth Of The Cool by Miles Davis
Oct 08 2023

Not really much to say. Just some pretty *cool* jazz.

21 by Adele
Oct 09 2023

Adele has a great voice and this album has a few impactful and truly iconic tracks but other than that, I honestly found the other tracks sort of forgetful.

Let It Bleed by The Rolling Stones
Oct 10 2023

The blues rock vibe is honestly pretty fun but I don't think I would ever listen to this again.

Iron Maiden by Iron Maiden
Oct 11 2023

It's alright. I enjoyed it a little more than I thought I would, but I just don't like "old" metal that much. Of course I'm generalizing here, but a lot of it just feels sort of outdated to me with the existence of newer bands.

Ramones by Ramones
Oct 14 2023

Easy 5 stars! Such a fun album that perfectly encapsulates punk.

Cloud Nine by The Temptations
Oct 17 2023

Not bad music by any means, just not my thing.

1984 by Van Halen
Oct 18 2023

I have never listened to a full Van Halen album before this. Very over the top, but fun and catchy.

Foo Fighters by Foo Fighters
Oct 19 2023

Not my favorite Foo Fighters album, but still pretty good.

Bubble And Scrape by Sebadoh
Oct 23 2023

It's a bit *too* lo-fi for me. I honestly just found some of the tracks quite boring but a few were pretty good ones.

Elephant by The White Stripes
Oct 26 2023

I've grown up listening to this album and still love it. I listened to it multiple times just for this rating. The music is good and their aesthetic is cool, what else can I really say?

Wild Wood by Paul Weller
Oct 27 2023

Very, very unendingly dull.

Frank by Amy Winehouse
Oct 28 2023

I really, really love this album. The jazz instrumental is catchy and fun and the singing is great. It was very upsetting to learn of her passing.
