Not loving this one. It kind of sounds like James Bond theme music from two or three or more decades ago.
Good energy! I like the way it opens, like a rock opera!
Great! Cool covers. I especially liked For No one
Ah! Another Scottish rock band! (ala Fratellis and Proclaimers, except this one has a highly recognizable 90's sound) "what you do to me" is nice. It's the only one on here that I might want to perform on my own.
Hi energy - great disco-esque vibes. The cover of Comfortably Numb was fabulous!!!! (wasn't available on YouTube Music in US, but found it on regular YouTube).
Oh jeez... I understand what this album stands for in terms of reviving teen pop at the turn of the millennium. But there's not a single track on this album that I was able to listen to from start to finish. I didn't like any these songs before, and I dislike them even more now.
Hit or miss for me. I most enjoyed the first track
Too hard. Yelling.
I didn't know much about the Cowboy Junkies before this. They are Canadian - which is a great start. The first track of this album is a beautiful solo acapella by Margo Timmins. This album is right up my alley. Soulful, country/folk music with subtle harmonies.
I have this one on vinyl (from my dad's old collection). With Honky Tonk Women and You Can't Always Get What You Want, it's a clear winner!
Very classic 70's brit rock. I could picture their outfits without ever seeing them. My favorite songs were the last two: Through the Looking Glass and Roll Away the Stone
Mostly not my thing. A little too grungy. Black Hole Sun is the only one on here that I would say I "liked"
Great folk music! Especially liked Birds and Ships & Ingrid Bergman
Mr Brightside. Somebody Told Me. Change your Mind... This album is full of hits!
I really like "Killing Moon." Most of the other songs didn't do it for me. It has a very dramatic "Moody Blues" kind of sound.
I can't imagine another album that is going to surpass this one. Leonard Cohen's poetry and singing... They just never get old

I have loved this album since I first heard it back in 1992 (4 years after it's release). It is timeless.
I love murder ballads!
I have this one on vinyl! It's a good one :)
Good energy without being too distracting. I'm enjoying having this in the background while I work.

Oh geeze. Listened with my GF, who grew up on Linkin Park. They are talented for what they do, but this is NOT my music. So angry, rageful... It's impossible to appreciate the underlying music, chord structures, melodies, or even the other emotions of the lyrics.
Not my go-to genre, but her vocals are impressive, and these tracks draw from her 1920-1950's inspiration in an interesting modern soulful R&B style.
Silence Kid has a very "Buddy Holly" vibe hiding behind it's grungy punky rock sound. Stop Breathin' had an out-of-tune country sound. A little Rolling Stones. This is a weird album and I like it. Newark Wilder sounds like CAKE
This has to be one of the best albums in the entire list. Period.
She's one of the best!
Can you get any better than S&G?
I mean... It's classis Clapton. He's a dick, but his music was phenomenal
This is a really cool album, and many of the songs are in African dialects, rather than English. "The Click Song" is really fun Also enjoyed Mbube, which is the original "Lion Sleeps Tonight," and a fantastic cover of "House of the Rising Sun."
Generic blah. Absolutely uninteresting grungy amateur garage noise.
First impression (Track 1) - kinda of Oasis-y (in a good way). I really liked M62 - good brit rock and a little funky N.Y. is pretty trippy - not my thing. Satellites brings up a lot of Coldplay vibes, and while it may not be terribly original, I still enjoy having it on.
Mellow. Lo-fi. Spans many decades.
