E-PRO = meh, okay but nothing special, wouldn’t have had it as opening track. Reminds me of another song but idk what. QUE ONDA = reminds me a bit of the salmon dance song by chem bros. Catchy but again just boring vibe. GIRL = ahh I like this one. Happy wee tune, driving with windows down on a sunny Sunday or smth. MISSING = I don’t like the repetitive tune and beats etc. nothing is sticking out for me and neither is this. Voice reminds me of pearl jam a bit in this also. BLACK TAMBOURINE = sounds like he’s about to sleep while singing. V boring. Least there’s a tambourine in it. EARTHQUAKE WEATHER = My fave so far, most lively but still chill lmao. Whimsical ending. HELL YES = Rappy and female voice reminds me of a BMTH song. BROKEN DREAM = ohhh I like this one. Quite sad. Again pearl jam esque. Love the instrumental parts. Makes me feel like I’m walking in a daze out of it. SCARECROW = wee bit funky. Repetitive lyrics. GO IT ALONE = nah nah nah nah. FAREWELL RIDE = breaking bad theme tune who? Very cowboy western. Would be a good show song. RENTAL CAR = shame it’s getting better as the album draws to an end. EMERGENCY EXIT = I wish he used his lovely voice for better music. SEND A MESSAGE TO HER = should’ve been on album. CHAIN REACTION = like this one, good ending. Overall, rather boring, one or two good songs I would listen to again but most of it is just lost in the abyss. Rather forgettable. Probably would not listen again.

I was going to rate each song on albums but that’s too time consuming so I will just review album as a whole. I already love Joy Division but have never listened to this album as a whole or most songs on it - only Isolation actually which I love. Chill stoner type vibes. Isolation is still by far my fave, just wavy funky good tunes. Its over very quickly but I could listen to it for hours, v calming. Harrowing when you know about Ian’s death and if I was in the wrong headspace I could perceive it wrongly and be sad but I enjoyed it.

I’ve never listened to Stevie Wonder before really so didn’t know what to expect going into this. I really enjoyed it though, funky album, some really good songs on it, very feel good and his voice is so smooth and buttery. My favourite track was Heaven is 10 Zillion Light Years Away. Some songs had me rocking and bopping in my seat - some had me listening intently to the emotion. Thoroughly enjoyable listen.

Another artist I have never really listened to before aside from the big popular songs. A good chill-out, groovy album. Doesn't really speak to me so much but I can appreciate it for what it is. It all just becomes a bit repetitive and boring for me and reminds me of the wee stoner guys in high school lol. Waiting In Vain was probably my fave on this album.

Really loved her first two albums but haven’t listened to this one. Solid album though, beautiful powerful voice as always. Always listen to her songs with ur ex partner in mind, v depressing. Remedy was probably my fave on the album tbh, with water under the bridge a close second. Some of it is a bit cheesy like Hello but maybe that’s just because it’s overplayed idk.

I have never heard of or listened to Joan Armatrading in my life so I have no clue what to expect here. Very Elton John coded but a woman! This is such a drink wine and listen album. Sweet and funky and hazy vibes. Some beautiful sax playing on this album also. Half-way through and it's starting to get a weeee bit boring now eh. An easy listen but nothing really stood out to me, probably would not listen again.

I like quite a few of Metallica's songs but I've never listened to a lot of their discography. So this is a live album with orchestra in background?? Hmm, could be alright. I'm actually excited to hear what the songs I know sound like in this setting. Ok...wait...so there's no vocals on this entire 2 hr long album?! I thought there would be!!! Oh no there are vocal, still not sure I'm enjoying it tho, maybe would be the best thing since sliced bread if you were a massive Metallica fan but idk it just doesn't hit right for me. It's loooong and boring and blends into one and it's not stimulating my brain, it just becomes background noise after a while. I actually ended up only listening to the songs I know (not following rules I know) but the rest I just didn't enjoy and it had no meaning for me. I did like the ones I did know but I would rather just listen to the OG song.

Another artist I’ve never listened to before. I’m actually really enjoying this album, listening to it on a sunny relaxed Saturday morning and I’m loving it. It’s just really nice and chill and full of nice guitar and just made my head feel clear and happy. Definitely would listen to some of these songs again. Think it’s exactly what I needed today.

Never heard of this band before but the album cover looks like something I’d love so let’s seeee. Ah I’m enjoying this a lot, it reminds me of something but unsure what. It feels very Modern and ahead of its time, I wouldn’t be surprised if some of these songs had been released this side of 2000. Very reminiscent of The Strokes? (Went and read reviews and surprised other people said this too ahah) Marquee Moon was probably my favourite. What a gem of an album!

Ahhhh now we're talking! What a classic album! This album is a different class in itself. Probably one of the best albums of the 90s - timeless songs. Common People and Disco 2000 will always be certified bangers. Apart from the classics, Something Changed is probably my fave, or Underwear.

This isn’t on Spotify so I probably won’t listen to it bc effort to keep YouTube open and listen but I will listen to a few. Didn't know what to expect but it wasn't this ! I don't think ... it's as bad as people make it out to be lol - compared to some things we listen to today I mean. My favorite part about this album is some songs will have little moments where it’s like “wait that’s actually really cool”. Thought Moonlight in Vermont was U2 starting again ahahah. This was a trip - a true journey - but alas, I would not relisten.

I do like some of Neil Young's music so I'm hopeful this will be good... This album also along with the last are not on Spotify anymore so had to listen on YT. I do enjoy music like this, quite chill and like smth that my grandad would maybe listen to lol. Sometimes I was like ooooft that guitar playing!!

I love Baba O'Riley and Behind Blue Eyes but haven't ever rlly listened to anything else on this album. Classic opening on the first track, I love it. Lovely album, easy listen, timeless and will listen again. Really like The Who when it comes down to it.

Unsure what to expect here - jazz?? I did quite enjoy it; was good for a dreary Monday afternoon. Lifted my spirits quite a bit tbh. Didn’t think I’d enjoy it but that sax was mesmerising. Felt like I was at a sock hop or something.
