Perhaps go to the concert in Belfast? Bangers on this album, though some songs are misses, and the mixing is a bit muddied. Might be good with bigger speakers. Seems to be a raw album
Some real hits on this album, lovely distortion and even a bit of an Irish sounding influence in some of the melodies. Some songs do drag on/are a bit repetitive but overall, has a strong theme, unique vocals, great sound
Love the crescendos of some of these songs. Industrial vibe. The melodies really catch you off guard, contrasted with the heavy distortion and unpredictable transitions. I would say that at least 6 of the tracks on this album would be single-worthy anywhere else.
Folky, funky. Not necessarily my type of music and the song sound a bit samey to me. Not sure if I don’t have an appreciation for this album just because other things I’ve heard are a derivation of these guys.
Samey classic Christmas songs
Not great background music, but has a good beat. It’s very good though and not my vibe. Kinda on the fence around if I appreciate violence and guns being talked about in music.
Boppy, hot chip is great for a bit of funky, chill listening with great beat, fun vocals. Each track is pretty great with no real weak ones.
Relaxing. All I know of Buddy Holly is from American Pie. Kinda Elvis-y
A performance; harmonies across stereo space, guitar solos, a deeply 70s prog rock album.
A bit aged sounding but sounds like classic rock for me. Slow and the track is a bit muddled sounding. Interesting riffs that were probably more revolutionary at the time.
This remaster is certainly good, has a lot of dynamicness, even though the songs may not be as supercharged as later hard rock like Metallica. Classic punk sound as well.
Beautiful jazz, not my cup of tea
I remember this was the first slipknot album I was disappointed in because it wasn’t as heavy as the previous ones. Listening back, the genre had really changed.
Great guitar riffs on this album, some active listening demanded
Classic smiths sound, with the talk-singing and a matching slow drifting guitar and drum ensemble.
Nice, really listenable, sounds like a rock version of David Bowie tbh.
Lighter Marilyn Manson-y sound. Slower, less distorted but still a bit electronic and industrial. Rammstein vibes too
Could get behind this kind of jazz.
A few bangers on the album, like waterfall and I am the resurrection, but a lot of the tracks do seem like filler. I really great though
Honestly haven’t listened to Elvis much but it is a bop. Can see why he was so popular. The whole album is beautiful actually, and I’m glad it’s been recommended.
Funky, interesting use of instruments. Sounds like something that would make it into a Tarantino movie.
Background music for me, not my cup of tea and I find the vocals to not be crisp, but it’s a vibe
Mix of the clash and sum 41, old school vocals and drums but guitar sound getting a little more modern
Interesting, very African sounding, fun, different genre to the rest of the albums really
80s synth rock, love it. Gives vibes of films you’d watch with your parents in the 90s 00s in the living room on free tv
Not bad, not sure if I’m a fan of bob dylan tbf
