All Things Must Pass by George Harrison
Jan 03 2024

Great background music for walking the dog and wrapping presents. Instrumentals felt complex and really had depth, but the overall sound of the album was very same-same throughout (I didn't realize the album was repeating itself until I came back to the second song, when I recognized the lyrics). Would be great to enjoy in California, during road trips, and during physical activity when I need additional stimulation that I can choose to focus on or not.

Jazz Samba by Stan Getz
Jan 04 2024

Not a jazz expert by any stretch of the imagination, but this was great music to wake up and get into the groove of the day. Great to learn the history of it as well. Sent me down a rabbit hole to learn more!

Queen II by Queen
Jan 05 2024

Great introduction to glam rock! I've never known where to start with Queen, this was a good one.

Illmatic by Nas
Jan 08 2024

Loved it! Wish I could have listened while not driving because I wanted to read the lyrics. A lot of hiphop and rap songs sound all the same to me (mainly because I don't know what I'm listening to) but Nas did lots of unusual or unexpected thingas n each song that made them distinct from each other.

Layla And Other Assorted Love Songs by Derek & The Dominos
Jan 09 2024

Honestly I'm sure this was an incredible example of guitar and classic rock but it left me feeling meh. May be good cleaning music. Sorry to the greats! I am what I am.

Elephant Mountain by The Youngbloods
Jan 11 2024

Cheerful and energetic! Great cleaning and puttering music. Probably would enjoy duing a gentle workout!

Time Out Of Mind by Bob Dylan
Jan 12 2024

Jesus save me but I'll never be a bob dylan fan.

Bridge Over Troubled Water by Simon & Garfunkel
Jan 15 2024

I LOVED THIS ALBUM. I felt like i was in the crowd at a music festival while I was puttering around doing chores. Cheerful and energetic.

1984 by Van Halen
Jan 16 2024

Loved reading the description and learning about Eddie Van Halen and the technical aspects that went into this album. The descriptor about how all of the showy aspects had a purpose- to drive the melody- gave me an appreciation and new framework for looking at music.

Phrenology by The Roots
Jan 17 2024

Fun, upbeat, creative, original. Didnt realize that I had become an old stick in the mud until I got to Pussy Galore and couldn't finish the song.

Go Girl Crazy by The Dictators
Jan 18 2024

Were these lyrics written by Gene Belcher? I think Cars and Girls especially showed strong Gene Belcher vibes. Overall, fun music, good to drive around with your windows down. Utterly shocked when I opened the wikipedia section to learn this was the first punk rock album and not a prime example of jock rock.

Hunky Dory by David Bowie
Jan 22 2024

Gorgeous, wonderful, upbeat, lovely. Adding to a playlist for both cleaning and also background party music.

Chirping Crickets by Buddy Holly & The Crickets
Jan 23 2024

I mean...surely iconic for its time.

Jan 24 2024

Soothing and pleasant. Dont know if i'd listen again.

BEYONCÉ by Beyoncé
Jan 25 2024

I mean...its beyonce

Ctrl by SZA
Jan 26 2024

Not for me but probably musically wonderful and important.

Talking Heads 77 by Talking Heads
Feb 06 2024

I love the album generator because I don't know that I ever would have found this album on my own! Fun. Irreverent. Upbeat. Loved it!

Either Or by Elliott Smith
Feb 07 2024

Beautiful and depressing. A massage for the ears but dont obsess over them lurics
