Moon Safari
AirReally enjoyed this album. Sounds like a fusion of Gorillaz, Daft Punk, Indie, Lofi, triphop, Portishead. 4.85

Instrumentals sound way ahead of its time. Music is sort of nostalgic too. 3.5
Album sounds like a nightmare. Very heavy and black. Some instrumentals are dark and hellish. 4.16
Very feel good album. 3.72
I thought this album wasn’t that special. I can sort of see how it might have been revolutionary for its time. Not sure how something like this would be above the grounds that Hendrix or the Beatles were breaking at the time. 1.9
Pretty damn close to a perfect album. Love the song build ups. Every song is a banger with the exception of maybe read all the tapes. 4.63
I liked this album. It’s pretty enjoyable all the way through. You can sort of hear some post punk and a lot of inspiration from the clash. 3.75
This has the Beatles-esque era sound to it. Pretty solid album for the the sound at the time. Probably wouldn’t listen to this again though. 2.12
Very folky. All the songs blend together and thematically similar. Better than bob dylan. 3.45
Very powerful, somber, and soulful album. Adele kills the vocals on this album and includes some of her biggest hits. 3.92
Very soft album. The singing is slow and comforting. None of the tracks were skips and they flow very smoothly. Sort of reminds me of the cars by the arctic monkeys. Almost like lounge music. 3.25
Amazing intro to kick off the album. A lot of soul and blues here but enough to keep it interesting and complex. Not much repetition. All the singing and instrumentals are great. 4.45
I thought it was okay even though I’m not really big on country so probably bias here. 2.5
Solid album. Love Freddy Mercurys vocal range. Not really any generics here. 3.2
Definitely AC/DCs best album especially given the circumstances. All the songs follow the same formula of hard rock but it nails it. Great album with 0 skips all the way through. 3.61
Probably one of the more unique commercial sounds to come out of the strokes era. All the sounds on here are faster and louder than typical garage rock songs. It almost sounds similar to the Dead Kennedys on some tracks. The intermission broadcasting noises remind me of panic. 3.45
Very dreamy and trippy album. This is what I figured a lot of Lofi sounds like nowadays. It almost sounds creepy at times. 3.82
Solid post punk album. Not as impactful as bands like the cure and the smiths. Few memorable songs on here. Still enjoyable all the way through. 3.16
I was surprised by this album. Great listen all the way through. High energy with guitar playing rivaling Hendrix. Keyboard was a nice surprising touch. All the songs on this album hit hard. Couldn’t think of any skips. They definitely set themselves apart from other hard rock bands at the time. 3.84
This album has a bunch of Michael’s Jackson’s staples. Besides that a lot of the other songs don’t really make the same impact even though they stick with the flow of the album. 3.33
Wow this album really surprised me. It sounds like true folk music. The entire listen was enjoyable. The singer has an amazing voice. 4.11
Very moody album. Probably one of the best grunge rock albums of all time. Formula stays the same pretty much through the entire album. Almost sounds like one large song. There wasn’t really any songs that stood out to me besides rooster. 3.30
I reall enjoyed the diverse range of instrumentals on this album. The songs have a hitting bass, banjos, pianos, horns, and very unique sounding. I was surprised by the song TSOP and is probably one of my favorites besides come on Eileen. 3.75
Pretty insane that Johnny cash still puts on great performance at his age. His cover of Hurt is one of if not his best song. His vocals are definitely at center stage for the entire album. It is somber listen but all things considered a solid album. 3.05
This album is fantastic. I love the instrument variety compared to LED Zepplin 1 & 2. The ringing acoustics and blue grass esque sounds are awesome. I really like the songs Tangerine and celebration day. 4.16
I like the singing and acoustics. Reminds me of Johnny Cash. 2.45
This album is crazy. It’s cheesy, catchy, and none of the songs are skips or boring. It all reeks of 90s hip hop and R&B. Nostalgic. Honestly glad I found this. I was surprised when I heard the OG lyrical sample from MF doom on My Bitch. Would for sure listen through again. 4.52
Very innovative album. The layered singing and sounds are bizarre. I can see the appeal. Almost reminds me a bit of the singer of portishead. Not really sure this was my cup of tea but I can see how someone can find this groundbreaking. 3.33
This albums sounds like a mesh between Elton John, Bruce Springsteen, and Queen. Some of the songs like paradise by the dashboard light are so over the top and dramatic. It makes for a great listen all the way through. 3.67
Sort of underwhelming. It has its moments but really just didn’t stand out for me. Occasionally I liked the horns. 1.82
This was probably one of the best hard rock albums I’ve listened to. Guitar, drums, raspy vocals are all killer. Ace of spades being the opener to the album literally sets the bar with how the rest of the album will go. No moments of let up or slow down. 3.92
This album was amazing. Frank knocks it out of the park with the vocals. The songs albeit a little gloomy are still a great listen all the way through. I look forward to hearing more of his discography. 4.06
Sort of went into this album pessimistic because I thought John wouldn’t have the staying power he had with the Beatles. This was a good listen. It almost sounded like it could have been in the Beatles discography. I really like the song isolation. Hold on has great jangly guitar. 3.34
