Janis JoplinStrong record! Bluesy, raw, great lyrics.
Strong record! Bluesy, raw, great lyrics.
Too monotonous for me, the guitar/drum/bass synchronous drive overlaid by the harsh vocals was headache inducing.
Not a fan…songs sound alike and Lemmie’s voice is just not for me.
2 good songs I could listen to in regular rotation, but only this acoustic version. The balance of the album is dark and morose and very much not my taste.
Moody Blues/Pink Floyd influencer.

Excellent album. Will pick up on vinyl
Not horrible…punked out Tom Petty. Won’t likely buy it but wouldn’t change station if songs on the radio.
Excellent record, some great remakes and many great originals. The “strolling” piano notes and tempo are not my thing but overall the record is strong.
Very interesting…not a fan at all of the vocal pieces but the instruments are strong and varied in some cool ways! Strings, horns, banjo…love it all.
Really nice record. Love the covers of some great songs! Solid guitars, cool R&B tunes for an evening playlist.
Ok album, a bit of the psychedelic sounds. Huge guitars, iconic. But not my groove overall.
Not my thing, explicit language only added to my low appreciation.
Really not my interest...
Forgot how good this album is. Need to buy it on vinyl for the collection. A good one.
Decent record. Have not been a CSNY fan, group or solo. But Stills is a good listen.
A bit James Bond sounding, psychedelic tones and some wild lyrics. Par for the time...
Solid! Love the fusion of sounds, good chill/hangout music. Long time Steely Day fan.
Excellent
Excellent album!
Not my style
Never been a Dylan fan based on later years sound. This one is terrific!
Solid. Not a big CSNY fan but this I enjoyed.
Excellent record! Had it on CD years ago. Need to add the vinyl.
Nope…
Some cool chill background music and some interesting blues takes. Would listen again.
Sounded like soundtrack to kids cartoon or a video game background.
Nope, musical-sounding songs. Broadway perhaps?
Great record!
Oh no…old country is not for me at all. Do not like the instrumentation, the harmonies, the beat. Nothing about it is enjoyable to me.
Not terrible…could listen to 3-4 songs if I heard them on a playlist or XM.
Like this one, great sound and varied instruments. Love Winwood’s vocals.
Interesting. Might buy this on vinyl, cool vibe.
Bobby Axelrod from the show Billions was a big Metallica fan…that character’s personality rubs me the wrong way just like Metallica’s music. I just cannot find anything good about their music. It is just intolerable to my taste.
A little too old-school jazz. Ok for background but not one to focus listening ear.
Closest I can get to this is Sirius by The Alan Parsons Project…
Beatles, Stones, Dylan all appear to be influencers of this record. Good but not one I’d buy or put on a playlist. Not a big fan of Ray Davies’s voice.
Not a go…just not my style at all. Much of it sounded like tools banging together.
Oddly some songs were really bad while a few were decent. I didn’t think I’d like any of them at all.
I enjoyed this way more than expected. My best friend loves this band so I was glad to check this out. Pretty good.
Melancholy, minor keys, repetitive guitars. Some early U2 sounds in some songs. Not my thing.
No go…reminds me of music from horror movie.
Cross between Midnight Oil and 80’s synth-noise. Way out of my interest zone.
Like a long jam session…not terrible, try jazz-fusion sound. Background music?
Interesting sound…some songs decent, some not so much. Not a fan of the vocals.
Strong record from a great group. Vocals iffy when Barry not doing lead. But a cool record to have in my collection.
Not my vibe at all, didn’t enjoy any aspect of the album.
Ok…disappointing to an extent. Thought I would like this better than I did.
Did not like it at all
Strong record! Bluesy, raw, great lyrics.
Not my favorite.
Too much dobro…
