Paul Simon by Paul Simon
Jan 09 2024

Love the percussion and creative drumming. Typical Simon lyrically poignant mixed with humor. Excellent. A master playing.

In Rainbows by Radiohead
Jan 11 2024

Excellent guitar work. A bit choppy for me however I can see why they are respected. Not necessarily my cup of tea.

Bryter Layter by Nick Drake
Jan 12 2024

Melodic, gentle, easy to listen to as background though rewarding to focus on. I only knew of Nick Drake from the Garden State Soundtrack.

Bat Out Of Hell by Meat Loaf
Jan 15 2024

Sounded like rock opera. Perhaps I don't understand or get the brilliance but I did not enjoy it.

The New Tango by Astor Piazzolla
Jan 17 2024

Very much enjoyed it. Happy and complex with some of the underlying tension present in Tango. Quite fun!

Elvis Presley by Elvis Presley
Jan 18 2024

I was surprised how much I enjoyed it. I have not been an Elvis fan but enjoyed some of the B cuts that sounded more creative and playful to me than the more popular hits.

Clube Da Esquina by Milton Nascimento
Jan 19 2024

Totally enjoyed this. I had never heard of this artist. Reminded me of Buena Vista Social Club but more melancholy.

Parallel Lines by Blondie
Jan 22 2024

I wasn't able to listen to all of it as I was out of the office a lot. Quite fun. I enjoyed the 80s throwback.

High Violet by The National
Jan 24 2024

I had not heard them before. What a great band!

Elephant by The White Stripes
Jan 26 2024

Quite a fun album. Nice hooks. I found myself wanting a broader sonic palate.

Van Halen by Van Halen
Jan 29 2024

Wow! Loved this album. You could see their brilliance as well as see where they grew in subsequent albums.

Ten by Pearl Jam
Jan 31 2024

Loved this album. I still remembered nearly every song by heart. Took me back to my teen years.

Feb 01 2024

Thought it was an interesting peek into their earlier years before they really hit their stride.

Rejoicing In The Hands by Devendra Banhart
Feb 02 2024

I didn't get it. Perhaps it was brilliant and if I spent weeks with it I would understand it. I don't. It seemed like an album of demos.

Tusk by Fleetwood Mac
Feb 05 2024
Smash by The Offspring
Feb 06 2024

Some really great songs but a lot of the album just felt vexing.

Arise by Sepultura
Feb 08 2024

I disliked screaming metal and the satanic vibe.

Blue by Joni Mitchell
Feb 13 2024

I rather enjoyed this album. I had listened to the River song but the other ones were mostly new to me though I think I could hear the influence she had vocally on Sarah McLaughlin and Tori Amos.

L.A. Woman by The Doors
Feb 14 2024

Great album! I had not realized how blues oriented they were! Very cool.

Let's Get It On by Marvin Gaye
Jun 20 2024

Loved it. Easy to listen to. Fun and sexy.

What's Going On by Marvin Gaye
Jun 25 2024

Excellent. Marvin is wonderful.

Aug 01 2024

Quite a variety of sounds. Some hits, some misses for sure. Some whiny songs but some lovely ones as well.

Abraxas by Santana
Aug 05 2024

Good album. Nice variety of sounds.
