Beautiful voice but an album is a little slow. Not a huge fan of her work but like her life story. Really like Veronica that is not on this album. Most songs sounded the same to me which may be expected with such a distinctive sound. Liked Know You Know and understand appeal to to F**K Me Pumps. 2
****Stop Now**** and go watch the doc “Beware of Ginger Baker”. Regardless of how you feel abt the album or Baker’s drumming. Album started off strong w the only 2 songs I knew. This music had its place and time but no room for it on my playlist. Probably would be a solid 4 on shrooms b
Tried to hate this. Can’t say that I did. Don’t care to listen to it again but I played it through. I didn’t think any song grabbed me but it kept me interested. Also, I have Visage on my playlist. Did not realize Barry Admason was in Visage an ok New Wave band.
No likey.
That was an earhurter. I like music with a hard edge but that did not cut it. Familiar with the band by name but this might have been my first and last listen.
The “Moptops”. Was an ok listen. Not a Beatles fan but plenty of hits here. “I Should Have Known Better” was the fav. No Beatles on my playlist.
I like the BB. I like Ill Communication. I expected to give this a 3 but changed my mind when I kept thinking about Sabotage and its excellent video done by Spike Jonze.
No Likey. Too folksy for me. Honestly was bored most of the way through. Though I do hear a little bit of Lou Reed in his voice which is good.
Not my style but have listened to worst. Was bopping along to “Confusion the Waitress”. Did not add to my playlist
Never have listened to a Metallica album but have rocked out and liked their top hits. Can’t say I enjoyed listening to the whole album. Seems like I like them in smaller doses.
Really liked Yellow and remember this indie rock period and bands like Coldplay played on everyone’s stereo. A moody sound.
That was not very good and had to push myself to finish it. Sorry to say but no song had great appeal.
This album was number one on Billboard. Funky and bluesey. Might listen to it again. Did not move to my playlist.
Didn’t like it
Awesome
Great band. I’ve always been a big fan of Ken Rowland and the Dexys. Made a song that has crossed many generations. Glad to see this here.
