Jagged Little Pill by Alanis Morissette
Jan 13 2024

Several bangers. High degree of nostalgic enjoyment, but a great example of a category I don't love.

Dirt by Alice In Chains
Jan 14 2024

Fine example of a category and era I'm not really interested in--a couple songs shred.

Talking Book by Stevie Wonder
Jan 15 2024

Good vibe. Lots of the tracks didn't quite hit

OK Computer by Radiohead
Jan 16 2024

Not historically my favorite band but I dig it

Juju by Siouxsie And The Banshees
Jan 17 2024

Punchy, interesting, easy to listen to--a familiar sound on the first listen, but distinct & engaging.

A Love Supreme by John Coltrane
Jan 20 2024

Solid, relaxing vibes. A great wind down after a tough day.

Highly Evolved by The Vines
Jan 21 2024

Solid. Several tracks are a good imitation of late era Beatles

Pretenders by Pretenders
Jan 22 2024

Great energy, few low points, surprising range

Jan 26 2024

I didn't even think this was that cool when I was in college (and childish and on drugs)

The Band by The Band
Jan 30 2024

An absolute classic

The Score by Fugees
Jan 31 2024

Would recommend

Slipknot by Slipknot
Feb 04 2024

Too 90s, too thrashy, too screamy. Still kinda slaps

Neon Bible by Arcade Fire
Feb 05 2024

Solid all the way through with a bunch of highlights and a crescendo through the end

American Idiot by Green Day
Feb 06 2024

Green Day doing a high-concept political protest album feels like being lectured by a college freshman. Several tracks bang

Sign 'O' The Times by Prince
Feb 08 2024

Not my favorite Prince album, and too long. Come at me

The Renaissance by Q-Tip
Feb 09 2024

Solid listen, enjoyed but didn’t love

Tommy by The Who
Feb 10 2024

Ambitious, mostly successful, enjoyable

Black Monk Time by The Monks
Feb 14 2024

A great new music surprise. Odd in an avant garde way at many points, way ahead of its time

With The Beatles by Beatles
Feb 15 2024

If we accept that all Beatles albums are 5s (they are), this would probably be a 5.1 on a scale to 5.9. Nonetheless, several great originals (All My Loving), and while it seems insane that the Beatles would release an album with 40% covers, the covers are very solid. Could listen to on loop

BEYONCÉ by Beyoncé
Feb 16 2024

Was kind of excited to listen to it, put it on this morning very hungover and realized that I know exactly what it's going to be and I'm not in the mood for it

Ellington at Newport by Duke Ellington
Feb 17 2024

Enjoyed. The live element was interesting but made for bad distracting focus music

Violator by Depeche Mode
Feb 18 2024

The pinnacle of new wave evolution

Wild Gift by X
Feb 19 2024

A fun romp. You can hear the influence in many who followed

Odelay by Beck
Feb 20 2024

Lots of bangers. -1 for rap rock.

Pelican West by Haircut 100
Feb 24 2024

First time listen. Fun
