With The Beatles by Beatles
Apr 24 2024

Not the most interesting Beatles record, compared to their later releases. Musically and lyrically very bland. I guess greatness have to start from somewhere, but this ain't it for me.

Machine Head by Deep Purple
Apr 25 2024

Overall decent hard rock album for it's time. There were some interesting moments throughout the album, but nothing that made me feel anything strongly really. Smoke on the Water, no doubt, is the track that stood out the most, it is the group's biggest hit after all (to the point of becoming one of the forbidden riffs to play at a guitar store). The story behind the song was cool though, which I never knew till I dived in.

Green River by Creedence Clearwater Revival
Apr 26 2024
Parallel Lines by Blondie
Apr 29 2024

Fun listen! I've always liked some of Blondie songs, but never delved into them until now. Favourite tracks: One Way Or Another, Picture This, Fade Away and Radiate, I Know But I Don't Know, Sunday Girl, Heart Of Glass.

Exodus by Bob Marley & The Wailers
Apr 30 2024

Pretty decent and fairly enjoyable listen from Rasta man and band. But nothing much more to say about it. Natural Mystic is a great song and opener though.

One World by John Martyn
May 03 2024

Great album. I really love the sonics throughout. John Martyn's voice was a pleasant surprise as well. There was no weak songs at all really. Small Hours is the best song on the album. Other fav tracks: One World, Big Muff, Couldn't Love U More, Certain Surprise.
