Old school goodness. Mind wasn’t blown but think it would’ve been better if I heard it 60 years ago. I think it would get better with more listens.
Been a fan of this album for a long time. Hard to fault it - almost perfect but I think it’s possibly a little bit too short.
First Bowie album I’ve heard so nothing to compare it to. I really like the band’s groove and every song had something to offer. Fame is a great climax to the album and if only it had a few other real bangers this would be almost perfect.
Quite unique band and album. Probably warrants a few more listens and possibly with time an extra star. Three days is an epic on its own. 3.5 stars
2 Bowie albums in now. This is very different from Young Americans. Few good songs and then quite epic instrumentals. Surely not his best work but does leave me wanting to hear more. 3.5 stars
This bloke released some albums. I think if he had have focused on less output but higher quality he would’ve released something much better. Highway 61 is a decent album nonetheless.
Incredible bongo band
Idk if it was the breast implants or him getting ribs removed to suck himself but I never wanted to listen to him when I was younger. Not the greatest album but it’s decent enough industrial metal with plenty of emotion
Weird but pretty catchy
This sounds like they put a bunch of talented musicians in a room and said just rip it. Hopefully one day I’ll understand it more. 2.5 stars for musicianship
Never really listened to this band but love 90’s and some indie/alt rock. Was like a breath of fresh air after listening to a run of serious albums. Not sure if this an essential album but still good nonetheless. Will be listening again.

Does sound like Hitler and his boys hitting the local hardware store. Could see it working as music for a film or something. Not very enjoyable but 2 stars for uniqueness.

Never heard of Faces. Good band and album. On par with a lot of the more well known stuff at the time.

Glad to see some Janelle Monae on this list. At first glance you wouldn’t expect this to be so good. This has it all. Packed with talent and musicianship! Deserves more listens to give it a faithful review. For now 4ish stars

When I seen Lou Reed come up had very low expectations. Was pleasantly surprised. Quite modern sounding album.

Having not heard this before my expectations were high. Unfortunately it fell short. Decent album tho and may give it another chance but just thought it was going to do more for me

I really like this album. Usually prefer more to my music but the space and the male and female combo work so well. Would give it 5 stars but does get a tad boring towards the end

I like Prince and this album is good. However some of the compositions are a bit long. Other than the hits can’t see myself really good back to this often.
