1001 Albums Summary

It was fine. A bit too repetitive and no song stood out as different from the next. Also means that no song was bad, but overall it wasn’t a memorable listening experience. I might be a bit too harsh as this is my first album and I’m not sure how I want to do my ratings. Would have LOVED to hear this live.

Great stuff. Love the bass.

Lots of amazing stuff here, but a few meh songs pull down the rating. Looking forward to listening to the rest of their stuff. There’s some great potential.

Kinda fun with the fake live stuff, but nothing else really stood out for me. I did have a headache when listening to this tho, so maybe it wasn’t the optimal time to try to appreciate Janis Joplin’s singing.

Music when the lights go out on its own is a clear 5

Hearing Riders On the Storm for the first time while on a walk in pouring rain was a trip

Loved some parts, hated some.

Had to restart this album several times cause I thought something was wrong with my streaming settings. Might have been a four if it didn’t sound so bad.

Usually don’t listen to reggae to it’s hard to rate since I don’t have anything to compare to, but I can definitely see myself listening to this again!

Rap rock sounds like something I would love but this was just ok
