(Pronounced 'Leh-'Nérd 'Skin-'Nérd)
Lynyrd SkynyrdA short, entertaining album between blues, country and rock. I liked the boogie-woogie style piano in some songs. I especially liked I Ain't the One and Free Bird. It was fun to listen to.

Relaxed jazz album, with a cool organ sound. Entertaining, although the songs are quite similar. The guitar reminds me of Julian Lage. I like the title song Back at the Chicken Shack the best.
I would never have guessed what era this album is from. It sounds like something out of science fiction from the 70s. Poppy, soulful, sometimes complex rnb pieces and dreamy ballads. The singer has an extremely versatile voice. The tempo changes constantly and so it never gets boring. My favorite tracks are Come Alive; Oh, Maker; Mushroom & Roses and Tightrope.
What an incredible piece of music history. Raw, real, intense and intimate. You can feel the tense atmosphere. I enjoyed every second of it.
Every time I listen to arcade fire, because it's so praised by the critics, I enjoy it, but it just doesn't blow me away. I like the dark parts of this album. (Antichrist Television Blues), Keep the Car Running and Windowsill are my favorites.
Surprised how many of the songs I knew from the Album. But of course they were playing everywhere by the time, in my mid twenties. Time is passing by so fast. I love Rolling in the Deep.
The greatest rock band of all time, the greatest rock song of all time. No-brainer… 5 stars
I had never heard of this band before. The sound is somewhere between Doors and Beach Boys, dark and light at the same time. Very unique. The voice has something hypnotizing about it and it always feels a bit like being mocked. The arrangements are terrific. Really cool album.
That's a difficult one. I really like Leonard Cohen as a person and whenever he's played somewhere I think "Cool! Leonard Cohen". His voice and his style are unmistakable, but I found listening to a whole album where every song sounds like a requiem quite exhausting. You have to be in a very special mood for that. Nevertheless, there were some very good songs, I love "You Want It Darker".
I wasn't familiar with this artist either, although he really does have an outstanding voice. A very entertaining and varied album, humorous and serious pieces and complex arrangements. From pop to rock to rhythm and blues, the album covers a broad spectrum. I particularly liked Early in the Morning, Down and Jump into the Fire.
A wild, progressive electro album. I was surprised by the sound, considering that it comes from this era. Of course there are elements that sound strange by today's standards. But overall I liked it very much, I will have to listen to the album more often. I liked Pacific 202 and Sunrise the most.
That's not my style when it comes to hip hop. The beats too boring, the flow too monotonous, the voice too colorless. The best were the skits between the songs.
That's why I like the app so much, because I discover musicians and albums like this. Wikipedia: "Dr. John... the most important and almost the only representative of voodoo rock" and in my opinion also the best! 😅 I love it! My favorites are "Gris-Gris Gumbo Ya Ya" and "I walk on Guilded Splinters".
I only knew two songs by Billy Joel, but the album is great. The style and the voice remind me a lot of Elton John. Casual laid-back songs mix with sophisticated compositions and powerful ballads.
Listening to this makes me feel exactly as I would imagine Cuba in 1957. Such a pure and wild sound experience.
