Never really got round to listening the whole album, I tried on multiple occasions. The Ocean's 11 of an album. Maybe it's not meant to be listened to in whole. It's a trip fr.

All of their songs perfectly emasculate the vibe of the 80's, at least, the vibe we modern folk believe the 80's were like. This sounds cliché, but it is perfectly fitting music for driving a sedan down a crowded alleyway, no phones in sight, just puuure viibes.

Straight outta Charlie Brown. Very relaxing, feels like life with your soulmate, living for months in an upscale apartment near a village in a foreign country during the winter season

Legendary album, so good that soviet union went crazy over it.

SO MANY SONGS ARE SAMPLED FROM THIS ALBUM. WHAT. PASTIME PARADISE = GANGSTAS PARADISE??!?!?! Also really nice album in general, got a hint of Japanese Fusion vibes from Contusion/Sir Duke.

Basically would be Mad God the movie if turned into an album. Interesting instrumentation, not my jam, but people would like it.

Really liked this one. Felt like a mid afternoon/early evening drive out of the city seeing the urban landscape turn into beautiful woods. Feels like a coming of age soundtrack. Vocals are soothing. Gives an 80s country vibe but with a modern fit

Reading Hendrix's history really makes you understand and appreciate this album even more. He's a lyrical genius, but even geniuses are human. In the most respectful terms possible, the music sounds like the soul of that traumatized child. A lot of it sounds improvised, a lot of it sounds angry; however, despite these emotions, it's clear to me that Hendrix has cultivated this spirit and managed to control it (at least to me). PEAK

The goat's still around today! Sounds like a soundtrack to an 80s detective film in LA. Funky but mature. This album is home to a plethora of absolute classic riffs which I didn't expect to have heard. Peak

Sounds like a wholesome version of "Bone Machine" by Tom Waits. Unique instrumentation. Sometimes pretty vibey but didn't fit my jam, for someone into this genre it'd be pretty fire.

Monty Python if it was an album and took place in the 60s. Some vibey instrumental and smelt a whiff of ranchera style improvisation throughout most pieces

Going into this album, I initially thought I wasn't into this genre of music, even though I loved Björk's personality. What I heard was ethereal vocals and profound meaning shown in the English lyrics despite her Icelandic background. Sometimes the instrumental hit, sometimes it didn't, but they were always unique and diverse, and her vocals always reached the mark.

Thought this was a more recent rock album with an older feel but turns out it came out in '71! As a LOTR enjoyer, love that they have references in the titles and lyrics. "The Battle of Evermore" is so sick. Peak

It's comforting yet it feels alien somehow, like OG minecraft. It sounds like you'd hear it in an empty sunlit meadow in the British countryside or in the harsh landscapes of some desert world. It's comforting in it's unbiasedness and sounds like a lullaby sometimes.
