Lou ReedExcellent album that I've rarely listened in its entirety. The hits on it are all phenomenal songs, the rest is not bad either. It's not The Velvet Underground though :)

Never been a fan of R.E.M. and listening to this album is not going to change it. This is just standard decent rock music, so not super exiting. The one exception is maybe I Remember California. Didn't know that song, I like the melancholic atmosphere.
I did not know Nick Drake, so this is a good discovery. Liked the songwriting.
I liked this a lot! What a voice…
Mixed feelings; there are some very beautiful songs on this album (e.g. The Body Breaks, Autumn's Child), but also super annoying stuff (e.g. This Beard is for Siobhan, Todo los Dolores).
This is a very solid album. "City, Country, City" is just 🤯. I now must listen to their entire discography.
Average album. Not bad, but not very exciting either. Best song according to me was Take the Devil.
After reading the Wikipedia page on The Dictators, I understand why the album is in this list and what it's place in history is. Maybe when you first heard it in 1975, this would be something special, but at this moment it's not :)
What a classic! This was the album that got me into electronic music. After almost 30 years, you can still see how influential Exit Planet Dust was on the whole electronic dance scene.
Hmmm, no :)
Meh. Don't like the haircuts either.
I was only vaguely familiar with the band, so this was mostly a discovery. Really like the shoegaze / dreamy songs. And what a voice Frazer has...
Solid album, but I'm not a big Beatles fan... Enjoyed side 2 of the album better, as it is more psychedelic. Helter Skelter is by far my favorite Beatles song.
Nostalgia Alert! What an album. That bass.
Absolutely phenomenal live recording.
Too cheesy for me
Like almost any Pink Floyd album, this one gets 5 stars. It is a complete trip, must always be listened to in one go, preferably just lying down. Pink Floyd's my number one absolute favorite band. Never got the opportunity to see them live though (was too young when Roger Waters left obviously :)). I did see Roger Waters perform The Wall live though, which was a very moving experience nonetheless.
One of the best albums of Metallica (depending on the mood I'll switch between this one, Ride the Lightning and ...And justice for all). Every song on this album is fantastic. Sadly this was also the last album to feature Cliff Burton. This was Metallica at its peak.
Enjoyable music, but also not super exciting.
Although this album doesn't have any of the hits on it, I still enjoyed it a lot. Favorite songs: Night Of The Swallow, Houdini
Listening to this was a bit of a weird experience. Reading up on the origin story of this album it makes sense that it feels somewhat alien. Some pretty special stuff on there, and I could come back to this album if the stereo mixing wasn't that annoying to listen to on headphones. Drums in one ear, guitar and voice in another... why???
I'm not totally sure what to think of it yet. Only listened to it one time, but it was ... interesting.
Not bad at all, great voice. Hour of Gold is my favorite song from this album.
Very very good album. This was right in the 'trading cassette tapes' era. Fond memories.
This is a good discovery, what an atmosphere he can create! From rhythm to melodies, this is a super interesting record.
Genre-defining album. Glory Box, Roads, ... so many good songs here.
Classic! There are so many good songs on this album. Favorites: Sunshine Of Your Love (obvious hit) and SWLABR.
With some exceptions (when I can enjoy the music), I really can't listen to hip hop for more than 15 minutes. I don't enjoy the music on this album.
Through this site, I'm quickly becoming a Kate Bush fan. This album is no exception :)
Except for the hits, I don't know a lot about Madonna's music. I can imagine their earlier stuff is of higher quality than this album. Some very annoying songs on here, and then some better things when it progresses. Still mediocre in general though.
The first half of the album (I guess the A side of the LP) is very good; "Can't You Hear Me Knocking?" 🤯 But the second half is much more bland, definitely OK songs, but nothing very interesting.
Horrible person.
Not bad, also not very exciting.
I did not know Deerhunter, but this is a pretty nice discovery!
Interesting mix of genres, well-executed. Good listen, but will probably not end up in my heavy rotation :)
