Another boring rock band.

Kollaps by Einstürzende Neubauten

Absolutely loved it. The only innovative and really interesting thing from this generator so far. It's less musical than probably a lot of people are used to, but it makes up for it by being artistic and evocative. This will definitely go into my favourite albums list.

Odessa by Bee Gees
Oct 14 2024

Did not make it through. The opening song was schmultsy and really tough to get through. Felt like it went on for an hour. I've never heard this side of the Bee Gees before, and I never want to again.

Elephant by The White Stripes

Basically perfect. I've loved this since it came out. They took risks trying jazz and folk stuff and it totally paid off. No skips!

Green River by Creedence Clearwater Revival

Licensed To Ill by Beastie Boys
Oct 19 2024

Genuinely hard to listen through. Sloppy production, lyrics that come across as juvenile and outdated, and a vocalist that is nasal and grating. Newsflash: for something to be a good parody, you need to be able to tell if it's a parody. This feels like it was written in earnest and then they tried to say 'we were just joking!' once they received backlash. I was cringing out of my skin listening through this. Really severely hated it. Music for middle school boys.
