Sheer Heart Attack
QueenD tier 4/10
D tier 4/10
a complete album, with a definitive sound that carries throughout, with uniqueness I'm every song. this album sets the bar.
5/10 this is a good album, but it's not a good listen this is the kind of album that I would use as ambient music in a very 'alt' bar, with a lot of right angles and shiny metal, and it's the kind of album ppl will use as samples for other S tier albums but at the same time it's not something you would LISTEN listen to, y'know?
honestly? dude has what 4? 5? songs I love this genre and honestly I was vibing crazy with the guitar for the most part but everything else is a let down. ik it isn't exactly the genre for quick simple jams but it really starts to get old after the first 5 minutes
I'm realizing I might be biased because I love this genre and these guys have basically mastered the genre the only complaints I can think of are nitpicks, like the mastering on the lead vocalist 8.5/10
it's very good. very very good. but not quite the 'peak' of what could be. 8.5
terrible. terrible production, cookie cutter songs, non-existent instrumentals, basic bitch lyrics, zero creativity. this album does not deserve to be in the 1001. not unlistenable, so I'm not going with the nuclear option of 0 or 1 2/10
very good blues but I don't really love blues that much the baseline for good blues 6/10
the grandfather. the origin of metal. every song is iconic. not a missed beat.
meh not good, not bad idk if it deserves to be in this list but it wasn't a painful listen 3/10
pretty good, but they need to figure out a better vocalist and someone to actually mic the vocals 6/10
ass does not deserve to be here 3/10
really good. two iconic songs and a very very solid album overall. 8/10
pretty fire big fan
best album so far, incredible production incredible lyricism incredible messages 10/10
edgy for the sake of being edgy, lyricism is pretty good and production is classic not exactly mind-blowing though 5/10
fun and enjoyable, but doesn't stand out it's standing on the edge between punk and surf and it's really comfortable there. I would listen to this in a drop top by the shore. 6/10
pretty good, very very RnB, and a couple iconic songs but it's not an album I would revisit 6/10
not as good as I wanted it to be. the kind of music that a band would play at a live bar; no one is really listening to the music but it's a nice accomp to a conversation 5/10
meh not bad not good either 3/10
sucked 2/10
sounds like someone found a sample pack and turned each one into a song. without making a song. and just looping each sample ad infinitum. 3/10
pretty damn good. this is what "queen" sounds like, very definitive, very good. nothing stands out but not because it's bland but because each song is equally interesting and good. 7.5/10
meh 6/10
I don't even have to say anything 8.5/10
overhyped couple good songs, pretty good lyricism but it's really flat. 5/10
pretty fun, plus opened with a harmonica do extra points 6/10
classy, fun. nothing iconic but a good listen 6/10
queen, but straight. one of the greatest albums finds ever, I'm absolutely I'm live with it. doesn't miss throughout the whole album, had stand out tracks all over, great use of instruments, a lot of fun. 10/10
iconic 7/10
pretty good pretty country 7/10
heavy, maybe too heavy it's definitely a statement, and I enjoy music like this but there's only a couple stand out songs like Sugar, and the rest are just loud 5/10
very experimental? there's a lot going on in every song, definitely too much going on. there's a gem or two in there but not worth the rest of the album 3/10
experimental Indian, pretty good 6/10
very reggae, not my style but definitely fun 5/10
got the Baba O'Riley, the rest is pretty good too. good sound, pretty consistent but not all same-y 7/10
was not expecting this to be as good as it was, really fun and surprisingly not too heavily dependant on Karma Chameleon. 7.5/10
meh? I don't really know what I was expecting from a Parton album but it definitely sounded like what I imagined a Parton album to sound like, without being iconic the way I hoped it would be 5/10
ngl, really good. dunno about the history stuff but this feels like the progenitor of black music's shift from being primarily blues to soul. you can feel the blend as the album progresses. 9/10
