There are strong influences of classic blues as well as bluegrass that make the album an interesting listen. While it is an interesting blend of genres, the group ultimately fails to move ahead, in a more creative and unique direction. It feels that the artists were content to re-hash traditional, american sounds and blend them into a more accessible package. 7.2/10

Very solid debut album. Refreshing call-backs to traditional american folk music but it isn't afraid to push the classic sound in innovative directions. Cozy album for log-cabins and cool mornings. 8.2/10
