Yoshimi Battles The Pink Robots
The Flaming LipsGroovy.. liked the album
Groovy.. liked the album
Where has this been my whole life?
If it’s nice play it twice. Have never listened end to end, I think that is the best way to enjoy it.
Folk music isn’t totally my jam, but I would happily listen to this once a quarter. Easy listening, cred to Stardust and Blue Skies- bangers
No stand out tracks from this one, but generally, a very nice listen. Seemed more like story telling.. I’ll listen again to confirm. If there was a option for 3.5, I would give that
According to my uncle, this is what “new wave” is. Love the genre, and love Chrissie Hynde.. great album
I had never heard of Cream but I really liked this album - I think I’m probably being a stinge with my 5 stars, but this was pretty close
I like Bruce Springsteen, but not the best of his discography - expecting more from the next one
The Smiths get old fast, but the first listen back in a few months was quite enjoyable. Won’t be in rotation though
Maybe not in the mood for this one today, skipped several songs.. Grace is onto something with this blokes voice
Beatles are great a little at a time.. and yes they are one of the greatest of all time- but too whimsical for me. This is the first album I believe is not better listened to end to end. 3 stars because independently most of the songs are good
This album enraged several people in the flat. Don’t think we made it to the end. Not a great genre imho.
Groovy.. liked the album
The strokes are just cool
I refuse to listen to a Christmas album.
I like the guitar in this album, simple but very effective tunes.. bit of a guilty pleasure this kind of camp, early rock genre, very similar all the way through though
Not my vibe
Pour some sugar- tune, nice surprise in this album.. enjoyed a lot
7/10
Don’t mind this at all- I would give this a 7/10, but don’t think it deserves 4 stars
Absolute legend.. Live is always better as well. Solid album, good vibes
Bit going on, liked the album, just weird- very Radiohead-esque not their best imo.. strong 6.5
Strong finisher, remember listing to this music as a kid.
I like the trumpet, but not that much
Tough run after Hugh.. too much trumpet this week. I appreciate Miles Davis for who he is, but will not listen to this again
One of my first albums, favourite band. I HAVE to give the 5 stars
Pretty good, no stand outs, I know a few songs from the cure, none of them on this album
Bit of a genre change.. liked this album, real smooth listening, classic 2000 rap
Groooovy.. few weird sounds, as Julia would put it, but some noice background music for the work day
Feels a bit weird listening to Folk music from the UK, but hey, I didn’t hate it. Fav track was Hesitating Beauty
Unpopular opinion: I dislike the song “Jump”.. could of ok songs in there.. would give it a 5 if I could
Felt like a lack of melody.. all a bit too distorted for my liking!
This is a good Beatles album
Where has this been my whole life?
I mean it’s all good, just not my genre… feels like I should be on holiday listening to this- I am at work. Depressing
Weird in a good way, not my favourite album of theirs, but Life During Wartime is a bop, and Paper.. very nice
