Hard Again
Muddy Watersreally felt it when he said "I'm a hoochie-coochie man"
really felt it when he said "I'm a hoochie-coochie man"
really felt it when he said "I'm a hoochie-coochie man"
Putting in my thought for the last three albums because I listened to them all while driving and couldn't write anything down at the time: Hounds of Love by Kate Bush: I think I'm too stupid to understand this (2/5) Urban Hymns by The Verve: Why is Urban Hymns 1 hour and 15 minutes, Urban Hymns (Deluxe) 2 hours and 34 minutes, and Urban Hymns (Super Deluxe) 5 hours and 30 minutes? An average rate of 1 Bittersweet Symphony per hour is crazy. (4/5) Electric Ladyland by Jimi Hendrix: Probably the coolest way to spell 'Jimmy Hendricks' (3/5)
I think it's really cute that they were originally struggling with this album and not sure if they were going to break up but then they started working together on 'One' and stayed together :)
Sounds like a perfect spring day. Sadly, I got bad allergies
The fact that they made a comic for this entire album bumps it up significantly for me. Hopefully no more multimedia projects are in the future of this
So good, I listened to it 4 times before rating
This album is so America-coded, I forgot U2 was Irish
Take Me Out carries hard, probably the best song from a band named after a racehorse
Two self-titled albums back to back? Really great for a band with members who don't really exist, with some bangers I didn't even know about before. Will be adding Punk and Sound Check to my rotation
Way more boring than I was expecting for a band and album named like that
i like it :)
I think this 1001 Album thing has made me a fan of Brit Rock, which is starting to worry me
I will be keeping this man on in the background for everything, this is the exact energy I want in my life
I wanted to hate it but it really grew on me. It makes me feel like I'm in a children's movie
I forgot that I actually like Coldplay. Perfect for late night drive, will be adding to the rotation
I still think it's weird that they rap the lines together? Like I know that Run-DMC did the same but it feels weirder when the Beastie Boys do it. Also "Humpty Dumpty was a big fat egg" from Egg Man is the beginning of the best beef in rap
Very saucy, I felt off listening to this at work.
