Smash by The Offspring
Feb 24 2025

A classic Smash! But not worthy of higher praise

Hot Buttered Soul by Isaac Hayes
Feb 25 2025

Fantastic instrumentation, masterful arrangements, and all the right vibes! One of Soul's finest!

Amnesiac by Radiohead
Feb 26 2025

Innovative, experimental, musically deep, unmistakably unique and purely divine much like most of Radiohead does, no wrong!

A Girl Called Dusty by Dusty Springfield
Feb 27 2025

Some good recordings, but ultimately forgettable.

Winter In America by Gil Scott-Heron
Feb 28 2025

Enjoyable listen! GS-H and Brian Jackson really compliement each other, jazzified! Great blend!

With The Beatles by Beatles
Mar 03 2025

The Beatles second album is solid, concise and nothing wasted coming in at 33:07. Good batch of songs, great opener but lacks in flow, and what I consider some of the better work.

Sign 'O' The Times by Prince
Mar 04 2025

This album is superbly overrated, the best moments on this is Prince attempting rip off David Bowie, the rest of it is total cheese.

L'Eau Rouge by The Young Gods
Mar 05 2025

A little difficult to connect with but definetly some cool Reznor, Waits comparisons happening here.

The Colour Of Spring by Talk Talk
Mar 06 2025

Art Rock / Jazz feel on this one with some Depech Mode vibes, great listening experience

The Blueprint by JAY Z
Mar 07 2025

Good production some ok beats but it ain't my jam, no real hype for me on this.

...And Justice For All by Metallica
Mar 17 2025

Flawed production and poorly mixed, nearly inaudible bass yet still it kicks ass!

All Things Must Pass by George Harrison
Mar 18 2025

There's alot to take in on this one but Iike the flow and more here than most Beatles albums.

Faust IV by Faust
Mar 19 2025

Some good soundscapes, can hear a little influence on the Prodigy on the first track, but this album is all over the place some of which I like but not enough to want to go back and listen to it much again.

Hail To the Thief by Radiohead
Mar 24 2025

Radiohead, what can you say? This band does it all and does it all beyond exception with every effort. There 6th offering is no different, it just might be there must inconsistent yet it still delivers. It's a 5 in my books but given there are others in the catalog that notch above i had to subtract. Do we all get that?

The ArchAndroid by Janelle Monáe
Mar 25 2025

This was an interesting listen, moments of shimmer and brilliance, but it lost me along the way. I enjoyed the cinematic and multi genre incorporation elements which at times felt honest and at times felt forced and deliberate. In keeping with the best parts or this record the artist had potential to have turned out a real true masterpiece if not for trying so hard to be different.

Dog Man Star by Suede
Mar 26 2025

This album does not hold up. It comes across as factitious, no real originality

Vanishing Point by Primal Scream
Mar 27 2025

This album is dark, trippy, and filled with mind-bending rhythms and cinematic flourishes. I would have appreciated it more if the entire effort was just instrumentation.
