Let's Get It On by Marvin Gaye
Mar 28 2025

Another Marvin Gaye album where the title track wipes the rest in quality, but when its that good, does it even matter?

Doolittle by Pixies
Mar 31 2025

WANNA GROW UP TO BE A DEBSASER DEBASERRRRR DEBAAAASERRRR This album rocks front to back, no skips. Also influenced so much.

Bridge Over Troubled Water by Simon & Garfunkel
Apr 01 2025

Genuinely not for me. Title track has a cool grandiose that makes it stand out, unlike the rest of this album that doesn't.

This album is fun. Suprisingly fun, and funky. 4 stars bc the songs with progression are the real strong moments, and I'd have that be the focus more. Otherwise, no complaints.

Electronic is my favorite genre but this is not essential. Way too clean and shiny for my uk garage, I prefer more vintage. But what I actually prefer are grooves, especially in the basslines, and good chops. And those rarely show up. I'd say listen to Sunship instead Made for a killer nap though

Deja Vu by Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young
Apr 07 2025

four kings slaying and serving a whole album

War by U2
Apr 08 2025

First U2 album I tried wasnt it, but this worked well for them. A good first half for the album. For the second half, the songs dont stick out.

Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness by The Smashing Pumpkins
Apr 09 2025

a bit of a long album, but my problem is how bad some of the angsty lyrics are. Still, I like a good sprawling album, and the idea of the contrast of the heavy and pretty moments. The latter are gorgeous, and some of the heaviest songs rock. XYU???

The Cars by The Cars
Apr 10 2025

Super fun and catchy album

Pink Moon by Nick Drake

All Directions by The Temptations
Apr 15 2025

Tbh I prefer the shorter version of Papa Was A Rolling Stone. B side is pleasant soul but not my favorite of this era

Urban Hymns by The Verve
Apr 21 2025

A bit too loft. Neo psych without going all in. Mainly Im bored. Wheres the wit thats on Bitter Sweet Symphony. At least Lucky Man is also that good

Moving Pictures by Rush
May 06 2025

Good. Probably the definition of good

Exit Planet Dust by The Chemical Brothers
May 08 2025

The beats are huge. You dont know how innovative these drums were

Bubble And Scrape by Sebadoh
May 16 2025

Kindof a Beatles approach to songwriting but if 2 of the members totally sucked. First two tracks are good though

Fun House by The Stooges
May 21 2025

Raw, rocking tunes with a feral B Side. Not a 5 bc I dont find some songs punchy enough. Could grow on me though, this album is sick and innovative Edit: it did grow. Kicks all ass
