Moody, atmospheric and took me on a journey. Didn't wow me, but didn't seem to be trying to - just nice and subtle.

Great proto-vapourwave / shoegaze pop fun. Kids is definitely the outlier in terms of tone.

Excellent pre-90s archaic beats, with CLASSIC sounds, vocals you either like or you can easily look past.

It defies convention and will remind you of everything from the Cat Empire to Queen and Zappa.

I mean if you like McCartney you will like it, but basically an album of b-sides.

What a second half! Truly captures that vaguely spiritual mid-80s action movie introspective scene in all its tender ambivalent glory.

Did not finish it (2 discs and long tracks) but exactly the kind of thing to get lifted and lie back to.

Just thumpingly solid blues.
