Deep apologies to everyone I ignored when they said I’d like The Smashing Pumpkins. I was tempted to give this 4 for the ridiculous length, but it felt too much like a homecoming to get anything but a 5. Something that’s firmly in my rotation now.

3.5 rounded down, enjoyed it but not a standout

Top track: Secret 77

Hot Fuss and The Suburbs were two of the first albums I ever remember hearing and loving, truly taste-defining. Has to be a 5* for personal value even though there are some tracks I prefer to skip.

eh. Obviously paint it black is great but the rest? under my thumb? not for me.
