Caetano Veloso
Caetano VelosoMaybe I didn't gel with it, but it wasn't my thing

Nah. Not for me. I tried it but didn't get on with it.
Actually better than I thought. Having only really heard Shipbuilding before, I knew of Robert Wyatt and his voice but this album is a bit more nuts in a good way. The music is good and some of the songs okay but there's a couple of gibberish songs that were just a bit odd.. I didn't hate it anyway and would listen again.
Very good album. I already own this, so I"m aware of it's work!
Already own and love this album. One of Johnny Cash's finest and a pleasure to listen at any time.
Actually a lot better than I thought. I am.aware of Mr. Cohen's work but it's not in my normal listening choices. The music behind the songs is really good and Lenny's low tones made it a lot better.
I recognise a lot of these songs as Johnny Cash covered them afterwards. Not the worst album as some songs are moody and well written, but not the most "up my street" album. Probably won't choose to listen again
A good album. Have been aware of a few of the tracks for years but never listened to the entire album. Blister in the sun is still awesome though.
I'm not a masive Beatles fan but think this is one of the first of the good albums. A couple of more maturing tracks make this bettwr than earlier ones in my humble opinion.
Classic. Still a good listen.
The first song was really good but I didn't enjoy the rest quite as much. I wanted to, but didn"t feel it unfirtunately..
An album I own already. Still good and still worth a revisit. Classic.
I did a minute or so of each song and it's dull. Nothing sticks out. Like a duller Jeff Buckley.
Like getting stuck talking to Colin from Accounts at a work networking conference. I attended out of politeness but found it boring and tiresome and couldn't wait to get away.
I'd never listened to this album before, and aside from the couple of radio faves, didn't know what to expect. Actually punkier and edgier than I knew of and better for it. Quite good!
Not the best, but not the worst. An acceptable slice of 70's if you're into it.
Stone cold classic. The harmonies and some of the songs are brilliant. In a possible controversial statement though, I didn't love the entire album. Sloop John B remains a personal favourite and God Only Knows is a masterpiece of loveliness but there are others that don't shine as much.
A good album as it happens! Never listened to it in it's entirety before but will be doing just that from now on.
Harpsichordy, whimsical, wafty. Not offensive, can definitely see how it has influenced other bands in the 60s and afterwards, and also how the music was working towards "Forever Changes" too.
It's Elvis. It's okay. There are two songs on the album - "I'm movin' on"and "In the ghetto" that I don't mind, but the rest wasn't really up my street.
Open mindedly tried to give it a shot in case it was okay and see if I was missing out. I wasn't! Not enjoyable.
Kerplunk is a good Green Day album. This is not Kerplunk.
Not a bad Metallica album. Not my fave though.
Got it on a.Sunday. Perfect.choice for a chilled day.
I own this already. Good album. Well worth a listen at any time.
Thia album encapsulates the 80s. I would say it's an era defining album and I like the clever song about the Salvation Army. Although it's not my normal bag, I enjoyed it.
The album that started genres. This album is always on heavy rotation in my life, along with many other Black Sabbath albums. Legendary and was always going to get played a lot today, on the day after Ozzy's sad passing. The algorithm did well!
Not a bad album. There are some nice numbers on it. The hits are definitely hits and the rest are okay too.
Good album. One I own and well worth another listen.
Giving crud cafe background vibes. Not a fan I'm afraid. Next please!!
Mozzer. He's a bit of a dick, but his music is okay. This album is okay.
Reminds me of an American film where they are driving through New York overnight. The lights and low lifes flashing by and moody. Not really my cup of tea but I can see why others might dig it.
A pleasurable listen from start to finish. High three, not quite a four
It's easy to trace the lineage of some bands like Teenage Fanclub and The Posies etc.to this. I've never heard the album before but I enjoyed it and would listen again
I like it, a lot..Never heard it before, but will be listening again, a lot!!
Maybe I didn't gel with it, but it wasn't my thing
Nah. Not for me. I tried it but didn't get on with it.
