Average British punk Rock, had some nice motifs but not my favorite genre
simple answer is: neat, original and surprising in every part of the songs, both leads synths/guitars and bass/drums keep you engaged
definetly not what i expected, i had listened to some cohen before, it's definetly an album of his but seems like he was still trying to find "hi sound" maybe? it sounds less old/mature compared to stuff like halellujah or you want it darker
i unevitably compared it to Who's Next, and it kept me from really enjoying it as i think it's definetly worse, but it isn't a bad record by any means
You can definitely tell that the front man was in Nirvana for years, and that that certain front man's best friend deadened himself recently
At start seems like Korn but more palatable to new listeners. Loved Three days LOVED IT
Great and iconic, but not really my jam.
Who mastered the first song? The rest, an OST with nothing stellar in it.
Overrated
When I next think about disco or electronic music this will pop into my mind
Had no clue what I was getting into. Super enjoyable jams, tasty jazz licks, sweet beautiful voice. 10/10
