The self-indulgent tones of the boomer generation. Don't get me wrong, musically it is pleasing enough to the ears. The melodies are light and the harmonies are good. Obviously the trio can sing, and Neil Young is trying his best. But let's be honest, this music came from a place of self-importance and selfish ness. The boomers grew up, and suddenly war and censorship was okay....just remember there were roughly 76 million boomers, but only 400,000 of them were actually at Woodstock, despite what they all say...
