I’m a Lonesome Fugitive by Merle Haggard
Aug 12 2025

Manly country take on regret and longing. Really enjoyed but not really my usual cup of tea.

Thriller by Michael Jackson
Aug 13 2025

Justified masterpiece status. Incredible piece of work.

Odessey And Oracle by The Zombies
Aug 20 2025

Catchy hooks, jangly guitars, lovely vocals and harmonies, poetic lyrics. What's not to like. Couple of overly cheesy parts in my opinion preventing the full 5.

xx by The xx
Aug 21 2025

At the time this must have been a nice contrast to the seemingly hundreds of generic messy indie pop bands in the charts. Sophisticated understated sound but a bit on the bland side for me. 3*

Achtung Baby by U2
Aug 22 2025

Bit dated but the singles still hit the spot

LP1 by FKA twigs
Aug 27 2025

Some really pretty stuff on here. The reviews are overly harsh. Would listen again

Guero by Beck
Sep 01 2025

Always thought of this one as the closest he made to Odelay. Really fun listen and some memorable tracks that still pop into my head 20 years later.

Dirt by Alice In Chains
Sep 04 2025

What a band. What an album

Penthouse And Pavement by Heaven 17
Sep 05 2025

Some fun moments, particularly the title track. Overall a tough listen and I won't be coming back.

This Is Fats Domino by Fats Domino
Sep 06 2025

I get its relevance but it didn't really excite me

Layla And Other Assorted Love Songs by Derek & The Dominos
Sep 07 2025

Some great playing. Layla is an all time classic. Lots of long sections of noodling over a blues rhythm. 3/5.

Venus Luxure No. 1 Baby by Girls Against Boys
Sep 08 2025

Not very memorable. Enjoyed some of the tracks individually but a slog all in. 2/5

The Velvet Underground & Nico by The Velvet Underground
Sep 09 2025

Some beautiful melodies and thought provoking lyrics in a sea of distortion. Classic

Back In Black by AC/DC
Sep 11 2025

Big memorable riffs, fun listen

Very by Pet Shop Boys
Sep 14 2025

Some nice stuff, not my cup of tea

Oar by Alexander 'Skip' Spence
Sep 15 2025

Hard listen in parts but the background story elevates it.

The Specials by The Specials
Sep 18 2025

Love the obvious ones. As an album it gets a bit tired

Elephant by The White Stripes
Sep 30 2025
Stand! by Sly & The Family Stone

Oct 21 2025
Dookie by Green Day
Oct 23 2025
Duck Stab/Buster & Glen by The Residents
Oct 27 2025

I'm glad I listened to it. As someone else said I can definitely see the influence on Ween and Primus' weirder stuff. Hard work for a mainly pop listener and won't be rushing back.

Fever Ray by Fever Ray
Nov 03 2025

Some cool stuff. Others sound like hold music
