Holy shit the opening hits so hard, but it was brought down by the vocals. I knew the Fugazi singles but hadn’t listened to this album before. The vocals did grow on me over the course of the album. It got a little repetitive sounds but this is definitely a heavy hitter. I bet these shows for this tour were incredible. I’m really glad I listened.
Really digging this album. I’d listened to it before, but with fresh ears I’m appreciating it more. It feels dated, but like it’s from the 2008, not 1998. Great album for starting work on a sunny Monday morning in my cozy office with a fresh cup of tea.
I can absolutely see shades of this album in current surf/garage artists. I like it but probably won’t be revisiting it a ton.

I grew up with this album. My dad had it on cassette and I first heard it in the car to and from preschool. It’s always existed to me the way grass and trees have always existed. I’ve loved it the whole time. That being said there are moments that don’t hit quite as hard these days and some that I’m fully not so into (Little Miss Lover is the only song I skip). Still my favorite Hendrix album and one of my favorite albums ever. It will always have a special place for me.
This is another album I grew up with. I haven’t revisited it a ton. Opening track fucking hits as do several others. Really rocking album,
Oh that’s who this singer is!
I liked it. Listened on the bus ride to the doctor’s office and got introspective.
I liked parts of this but overall it didn’t draw me in at all. Just reminds me of boomer Parquet Courts, but like the worst of them, not really the parts I like.
Omg Kurt! I love his solo stuff but had never really listened to WoD. I loved it!
Classic album that I’ve never been able to get that into. I always love LCD in small portions, but a whole album gets monotonous to me.
Heard it, it’s fine
Willie! I hadn’t heard this album before. Really liked it. Total country crooner, slowed down vibes. It really hit for me today.

First time listen! As someone who has a strong appreciation for 70s rock, I was expecting to really like this album. The actual impression was mediocre though. I kept making me want to listen to T-Rex instead.
