Freak Out!
The Mothers Of InventionI respect the chaos, but it’s giving “theater kids discover LSD.” Some songs slap, others feel like they’re actively bullying me for listening. Historic, sure, but I’m not rushing back.

Very interesting as I’ve never listened to a jazz record before. Made me feel sophisticated, but I will never listen to this on my own.
This is so much spicier than I was expecting, I can imagine people having a good time with this when it came out.
I am a sucker for folky singer-songwriter music, so this was a really fun album to get generated today! Gorgeously atmospheric but emotionally restrained. Leaves me wanting a bit more.
The kind of album that would be significantly better if some songs were removed, and even so, still wouldn’t be great. The production also kind of sounds like shit. I can’t help but think that if I was born decades earlier and bought this physically when it came out because I do like lots of Fleetwood Mac songs, I would be so disappointed. It just doesn’t sound polished enough for a band this successful. I did add a few of the songs to my playlist though.
I don’t have anything interesting to say, this was kind of boring. The band has some great songs in their catalogue that I listen to a lot and this album only has Clint Eastwood. Maybe I’ll check out another album by them.
I guess the heart in my gen z female body is a dad
It's like it was a goal to go into the studio to see how many awful sounds you can string together to make a song. And there's 13 of them. And it's long as fuck.
It feels like a diary written by someone who’s way cooler than me but somehow still relatable.
Sounded like beige wallpaper. Not bad, not painful, just aggressively fine.

This album is pure fantasy cosplay rock. Very fun.
Feels like being trapped in a factory where the machines are slightly off-beat. Respect the influence, but I was bored out of my mind.
It sounds great and I get the appeal, but the edgelord lyrics are rough to sit through. I’m not a prude or easily offended, I just know when someone’s trying way too hard. It’s just a pretty cringe listening experience.
Coma-inducing
Raw, scrappy, and fun
Chaotic, beautiful, theatrical. Absolute beautiful find, and why I started doing this challenge!
Obviously amazing vocals, but feels like an album built around a couple hits and a lot of filler.
One of the best-aged albums ever created. Although, it is such a shame that Radiohead started the trend of white sad boy music but it was almost worth it.
It’s tender, and surprisingly honest about domestic life and motherhood, which you never hear sung about. A quiet little gem.
Was super intrigued reading the Wikipedia article and was immediately disappointed.
Way better than I expected, but it still feels like one of those “you had to be there” albums.
I was surprised to realize I knew every song on this, it teleported me straight back to childhood, playing my DS in my dad’s car on long Sunday drives to my mom’s house. Nostalgia aside, the riffs and energy are still great.
There’s a lot of talent here, great musicianship and great storytelling lyrics, but I just cannot with his voice. Gravelly growl blues is not for me.
Weird in a way I usually enjoy, but this one just felt monotone. Beautiful strings and all, but I found myself zoning out instead of being drawn in. Respect it, but I won’t revisit. I loved reading the reviews about how this had an impact on people so I added a star.
As far as instrumentals go, this is really good, funky, tight, and fun. But personally, music without lyrics doesn’t impact me much unless it’s tied to a movie or game. Cool listen, not my thing.
The first two songs had me interested, then it totally lost me musically. This is more of a statement than something to be enjoyed.
I read Eric Clapton's Wikipedia because I know people hate him and omg holy shit lol.
Kind of fun, not anything particularly interesting about it.
This album is just gorgeous start to finish. Warm, soulful, and ridiculously beautiful. Every track feels alive and heartfelt.
Nonsense stitched together with sound effects.
Cool in theory, and I get why people rate it highly, but it didn’t leave a huge impact on me. Some psychedelic moments were fun and weird, but a lot of it just blurred together. Not boring, just not that memorable either. Solid but nothing I’ll revisit.
Political and managed to land. Although I enjoyed it, every song felt a bit same-y which gets exhausting after an hour.
Adorable.
Ugh. I expect these albums to be really good and/or culturally significant. Where does this even fall? It’s FINE.
This was cute. I actually enjoyed listening to it, but it never really went beyond that.
Messy, chaotic, and pretty fun the whole way through. Definitely rough around the edges, but that’s part of the charm. I actually liked this a lot.
Some great songs, and lots of terrible ones.
This was so pretty. Dreamy harmonies and just the right touch of sadness. It’s melodic the whole way through, never boring, and a couple tracks really stuck with me. Loved this one. The most liked review was also awesome to read.
