Colour By Numbers
Culture Club
While i could feel the themes of relationships gone awry and somewhat forbidden or in some secrecy, the album as a whole felt more like a collection of singles. That being said, it is catchy 80s pop all the way with a lot of soul and new wave feel. Boy George’s voice is amazing and the female background vocals almost steal the show for me. Brought me back to my youth for sure

Electric Warrior
T. Rex
My feelings on T Rex have waxed and waned over the years. I used to love them, now I appreciate them and what they did at their time to bring glam to the forefront. This may be their best album and has some great grooves, its fun, short catchy tunes and glam pop thu and thru. I also appreciate the nods to blues and rock roots. It's fun and easy to listen to.

Sigur Rós
Good in atmosphere. Not really my taste of music but felt well mixed, produced and cohesive. If you’re a fan of this type of music, i believe this is great.

Highway to Hell
AC/DC
Riffs riffs and more riffs. This is guitar driven with bluesy beats. ACDC at their finest. Much cleaner and cohesive than their previous albums. Although those are great too. This one shows they were ready for the big time. No skips press play and enjoy

Band On The Run
Paul McCartney and Wings
I forgot how good this one was. You can really see McCartney‘s love of production in this one. Tempo and mood shifts in the tone, the harmonies are very prevalent. And let’s not forget some very memorable tunes like band on the run jet and 1985.

The Band
The Band
Amazing storytelling, instrumentation and fun. Feels like you’re hearing old backwoods tales, set to memorable beats, guitars that set tone and move the song forward, piano that turns the click back, and surprisingly funky bass lines. I can see why so many people fell in love with The Band, if this was their debut.

Disraeli Gears
Cream
Four classics ( Strange brew, Sunshine of your Love, Tales of Brave Ulyses & SWLABR)with four classic guitar riffs burned into the rock n roll ether. Blues feel throughout, even when they’re getting psychedelic or slow. Drum fills and beats that remind you of why all drummers should learn jazz as part of their education and bass lines that feel very inline with the funk to come years later.

I Do Not Want What I Haven't Got
Sinead O'Connor
Glad this popped up on the generator. I have not listened since the 90s. Even though each song is different in style, the tone and angelic voice of Sinead truly make it an easy listen that is cohesive and thoroughly enjoyable. I listened multiple times and got sucked in each time. The lyrics are thoughtful and poignant. I cannot say enough about how much I enjoyed this.

Sunday At The Village Vanguard
Bill Evans Trio
Enjoyed this way more than I expected. While I like jazz, I tend to like it in small doses or live. This one was a great throw on while I worked album/ Great pacing, tempo changes, and quite honestly, the drums were a treat. I felt transported to a jazz club in the village of the early 60s. The next best thing to actually being live. This is now up there w/ some of my all-time jazz favs, like Coltrane and Davis.

Physical Graffiti
Led Zeppelin
I know so many love this one, but I think it's just good. I think this could have been a more solid single album. Zep has so many great albums, I may be stacking it against those unfairly. Great riffs, soulful singing, solid bass lines and drumming that we great. This is not a bad review, I do love this album and Kashmir is one of my all time favs by Zep

Will The Circle Be Unbroken
Nitty Gritty Dirt Band
To me, this is the best bluegrass album of all time and should be exactly what you recommend to someone who wants to know what bluegrass is. Since I have never heard a better BG album, I have to give this high marks. it is the standard. Pure Americana.

The Wall
Pink Floyd
One of my favorite albums and probably my first real dive into Pink Floyd when I was a youngster. It holds a special place in my heart, so imaginative, tells the story, and as always, the production is through the roof. While it has great tracks on their own, I feel I can only really appreciate this as a whole.
