I’m not a big fan of U2…. This album was definitely a change in their typical sound. My favorite song: who’s gonna ride your wild horses I would not listen again.
I liked that this album was short. I’ve never been much of a fan of ZZ Top. I felt like the songs blended together and all sounded the same. My favorite track was Sheik because it was mostly guitar and no singing. Would not listen again.
I really enjoyed listening to this album after a long day of work. Nick Drakes voice was calm and soothing and so was the music. Favorite tracks: Northern Sky, Haley Jane I I will listen again
Play that funky music white boys I guess. Enjoyable listen.
It opens with a bang but, by mid way through It just felt droning on. I wanted it to end. The last 2 songs took a surprising turn. They were completely different from the rest of the album and they were my favorite part. This is not their best album.
Bro… this not even a good talking heads album. I like Take me to the River and I’m not in love.
I was jamming and dancing but also thinking and pondering
I listened to this while cleaning and it made time go by faster. Loved the music I just don’t think this was made for me and that’s okay.
This album is a true masterpiece. Kendrick Lamar is one of the greatest rappers of all time. His story telling is unmatched.
You can’t beat Loretta Lynn’s lyrics.
I love this 90s rap! You can tell this album has influenced so many artists. The lyrics are clever and funny. I will listen to more. Favorites: I left my wallet in el segundo, Ham N Eggs
Shout out to my Gram… I know she probably loved this album. Favorite: Blue moon
I remember my dad showing me this album. It is historical. Favorites: San Quentin (both times) and Folsom Prison Blues
They were really going crazy on those bongos. Favorite: dueling bongos
I feel like I should be wearing a long trench coat and sunglasses when I listen to this album. Favorites: Everybody knows, I’m your man, Take this waltz
More like skid marks from my shart.
This is my shit!! 2010s indie rock is the best. Half life II still hits deep.
My dad loves Van Halen so I have to hate it. It’s not hard to hate. The screechy vocals and cheesy lyrics are enough to put me off. Eddie Van Halen is the only reason to listen.
I wanna be the hype man screaming in the background.
