Smooth as butter.
Very interesting and original album. Not quite my thing (and I think I prefer Doolittle), but would definitely recommend.
Great album, Marque Moon (song) is a jam
Best live album of all time.
Maybe not the best, but the Nirvana album I come back to the most. Cobain's screaming through "Where did you sleep last night" summaries it for me.
Absolute classic — some of the best vocal harmonies in rock music.
Good late 60s rock n roll, along the lines of CSNY and Buffalo Springfield.
Pretty eclectic album, some good funky moments. Worst part: cheesy Imagine cover. Overall, a good listen.
Pretty fun and energetic album — this stuff probably shines live.
One of the best albums by one of the best to ever do it. Both the acoustic and the hard rock parts are fantastic — every time I hear the start of Powderfinger I'm instantly transported, one of the most vivid songs ever written.
Great album, classic theatrical and hard rocking Queen.
Love this album — has a dirty, sleazy vibe throughout, with sleek late 70s/early 80s production and the unmistakable Marianne Faithfull's raspy delivery.
I'm not a huge The Who fan, so this doesn't do too much for me, but I can see how this album would be mind-blowing in 1965 — from this time distance, I'd rather listen to the late 60s material from The Rolling Stones (and The Who themselves!). My Generation (the song) is a timeless classic, though.
This was almost a 5/5 for me when it came out. I cooled a bit towards it over time — I think their earlier stuff, although less catchy, has more of a staying power.
Not my favourite Gorillaz album (that's probably Demon Days/Plastic Beach), but it's a great mix of hip-hop, trip-hop, and experimental pop/rock that Damon was into at the time.
Total banger of an album.
Drum & bass bible — the bass line from Brown Paper Bag lives in my brain rent-free.
I have a feeling Pulp will be one of those 5/5 bands once it finally *fully* clicks with me — as of now, this is some really cool stuff, and Common People is an absolute anthem.
Powerful last album by David Bowie — his death came as complete shock as the album was bursting with creativity and freshness.
Absolute classic. Even when Led Zeppelin blatantly steal, their interpretation of blues classics explodes from the speakers. I listened to this album way too much in the past, so I do not play it often anymore, but I still think it's a 5/5.
Was expecting to dislike this, but actually it's quite a pretty album! Will probably give it another spin in the future.
This was a solid, interesting album. I will need a few more listens to see where I converge with it, though.
This is a fantastic classic rock album that I wasn't very familiar with previously. I think with more time this one might become a 5/5 favourite for me, along the likes of Layla, and early Neil Young.
Phenomenal album — half great pop singles (Running Up That Hill, Cloudbusting), half progressive experimental pop à la Talk Talk.
Not my favourite OutKast (that's probably Stankonia), but still, a great stuff.
Fantastic album, ethereal, beautiful music. It's really a 5/5, but on a regular day I usually don't have the patience to go through a Sigur Rós album in full, hence, 4/5 for my personal taste.
