Okay, so I accidentally listened to this album on shuffle, and made it ten songs in before realizing. I think that this album is meant to be listened to in order but idk LOL. I don't think I get her vision for the album, and it was a little too drama and out there for me. Fave song was Jig of Life!

Okay, LOVED it. some of the lyrics were a bit cheesy. my fave songs were the first and last! of course, venom was good too hehe but whole album had a cohesive message and told a complete story.

This is one of the most wistful, nostalgic albums I have heard in a while. Once You've Had The Best, The Weatherman, and Who Will I Be Loving Now are my top 3 for the album. It really makes me want to watch the leaves fall with a chill in the air but I've got a cozy blanket. Old country like this had truly mastered the concept of longing - and I am here for it.
