More technical musically than I thought they’d be
Jazz is ok at times like hanging with friends and having drinks. It’s hard to tell when 1 song is nda and another starts
Smoke in the water is one of the best songs of this era, but the rest of the album is ok
So many great songs on one album. A great follow up to Nevermind. Not as popular as their first album but made sure the world knew grunge wasn’t going away.
Good album in the grunge era but don’t think I’d call it one of the best. Musically and vocally well done, but wouldn’t go out of my way to listen to it.
That was interesting. The music was good, the lyrics were different. They were definitely high AF when they wrote this but it was entertaining. Would give 3.5 if I could.
Great album
Album art is nice. Album itself is forgettable.
Unique sound. Belongs in a Tim Burton movie
Good bears but lyrics were nothing special.
Beer, friends, and Irish music makes for a great night
Kind of like an old school version of Massive Attack
Not my type of music but my parents would probably like it.
Don’t think I made it through a single song. Every song just repetitive
I really like this group but it’s not their best album
Great album
Not a fan. His voice is kind of whiny
Couple songs were ok but the singer’s voice was shrill and could not stand it through most songs.
Unique voice. Fitting for Halloween.
I am Lorde. Ya ya ya. But seriously it’s a good album. The songs have a good range so don’t sound the same as each other. They are catchy but don’t seem overly produced as some pop songs.
I can’t hear Bob Dylan without thinking of the people of SNL doing impressions of Bob Dylan. He’s a great lyricist but not my type of music
It’s jazz. Fine but cannot differentiate songs at all
Good groove. Enjoyed it
Like the background music in every movie that shows a safari or nature view in Africa.
I understand why he was a big deal but not my type of music. 3.5 star if I could give a half.
