Calenture
The TriffidsShades of Echo and the Bunnymen, The Waterboys, and INXS in here, but nothing truly noteworthy. No idea why this is on the list.

Victoria's the standout here. Album holds up as a whole, but the concept wears a little thin by the end. B+ relative to the catalog.
I get it, but not for me.
Somehow lives up to its reputation, no matter how much it gets sampled, quoted, and overplayed.
Production really jumps out here, especially compared to Badmotorfinger. Everything sounds huge and deep here, great vocal multitracking. Mixed bag on the track list but the hitters hit.
Plenty to love and hate here. Kind of impossible to think about objectively with all the after-the-fact knowledge of what this album represented & led to. Sad but True is still an absolute monster.
Cecilia, Baby Driver, The Boxer. Only Living Boy in New York are undeniable. Can't be ignored that some of the coffeeshop folk songs on here are absolute snoozers, though.
Always surprising how bluesy this one is. Still a blast, very few low points.
A solid but mostly unremarkable pop rock album.

Nice to remember what U2 was like in the before times. Great songwriting, distinctive sound, sincere and political in a way that I actually believe.
Does nothing for me
Still nobody that sounds like this.
Nothing says 70s jazz like a dude groaning like he's gonna bust for an hour because he's so pleased with his own playing.
Great voice, clever lyrics, but sonically doesn't really go any place interesting.
I keep waiting to find the bad Kinks album, but this ain't it.
Didn't hate it, but I feel like this album gets a plus 25% enjoyment modifier if you're from the UK.
Who wouldn't like this?
Just an absolute monster.
Not my favorite of hers, but it still rules.
The sound is there, but the songs just aren't yet.
