1001 Albums Summary

Californication is the when the Chili Peepers became a more sensible and "beatlesque" kind of band. I hear songs like Scar Tissue or parallel Universe and I'm instantly Transported back to that summer. Californiacation and By The Way( the follow up to Californiacation could have easily been a double album.

I'll bite and write a few words in regards to this album. Of course it's great. I think most would agree. So is it their first classic album. If so then it took time for the Stones to catch heat. It marked the beginning of a pretty much flawless 3 album order. Between the Button and Flowers being the other 2. This may be favorite incarnation of the Stones. Bryan Jones has more influence than it sometimes sounds. I Her Majesty's Satanic Request so the stones in my opinion were riding a wave a top the world for quite some time

Not my bag

Make sure you are sitting down before you listen to this albums. Because it will knock your on your ass if you're standing. I never even heard of her before today and Ill never forget her after today.

My least favorite pixies album but still damn good

Like I've never heard this album in my lifetime. Kanye West is a time traveler . 😆

I'm sure it's great I'm from Missouri and never been to Miami so can you blame for not exactly being drawn to this music style. Maybe I should start with viewing the doc film and getting some framed reference points and gain commonality through the characters and stories

Oh really. Like I don't already know this album is a masterpiece

Another five star album. Prince at the peak of perfection. He brought the house on this album and proceeded to burn the place down to the ground. This album is sprawling and yet very grounded.bin it's themes and style. I'd say this is probably my favotrite prince album ..
